A college in CU with low fees and good experience.

Placements: After studying Diploma in Pharmacy placements by the college is not there. You can get yourself a job after 3 months of internship in any hospital after filling out the internship form and getting registered from PCI, Raipur, C. G. The salary can vary here in 'Bilaspur' between Rs.5000 to Rs.11000 per month and it could be more in other cities. The highest paying hospital in Bilaspur's starting salary at present 2022 is Appolo Hospital and its branch pharmacies i.e., Rs.10000- Rs.11000 per month. You can also join a job as MR- Medical Representative for various companies and can get more salary with an increase in workload there will be an increased salary Rs.15000-Rs.40000 per month. Most students got an internship in hospitals like Apollo Multi-speciality Hospital, CIMS Hospital, Star Children Hospital, Mark Hospital, etc. After the D. Pharmacy course you can opt following course/plans for the future like Lateral Entry in B. Pharmacy, Job in any Hospital as a Pharmacist, Job as an MR -Medical Representative, Open Medical Shop i.e., Start your own business, Find a government job opportunity for D. Pharmacy like in SECL, NTPC, Railway, Samvida, etc. If you get this you are among the luckiest ones.

Infrastructure: Large lecture rooms for more than 70 students approximately. Two libraries one dedicated library for the Pharmacy department and another central library for the whole university. Free Wi-Fi connection for all students to login you have to use your given number and password is 123456 at the beginning for all until it's changed by you. But Wi-Fi Signal strength is weak. But when in a good signal area speed is good. Separate hostels for boys and girls are allocated according to the distance from their hometown. Hostels are cheap, food charge keeps changing and may vary according to catering services so with the quality. Medical Facilities are available. University has its medical center. Huge space for most of the sports in the university and just in front of the pharmacy department. No coolers for summers in most of the classes. Except for the new smart class with an air-conditioner.

Faculty: Most teachers are the best you can get in the State for those subjects as it is a central university. With good knowledge and teaching quality. This was for the Professors and Asst. Professors are not for Ad-hoc teachers. The course and curriculum are good and relevant. You may first think it's of no use but you may realize it at the time of your practicals and during the internship period. There are no semester exams in D. Pharmacy which conducts an early exam and three internal examinations. Exams are moderate to high at difficulty levels depending upon your knowledge. The pass percentage is 70-80% without ATKT and with ATKT it is 80-90%.

Other: If you have less time and want to do something that will provide you value even with 2 Year course. It's this course D. Pharmacy. The course can be improved by practical examples of medicine in-class time. Other than that it offers all the practical knowledge you need. During 2017-2019 I attended departmental events like- Pharmacist Day, Teachers Day, Blood Donation Camp, Department Fest - 'Atulyam 2017', Department alumni 2018, and University programs like music bands, dance, drama, street acts, sports, and other departments fests. There's everything you need if you want to enjoy it. Scholarships for lower-caste students and some toppers are available, for same-state residential. The campus is green and fresh in all the other seasons except for summers.
