EWS Certificate Validity Revised
EWS candidates can now produce valid income and asset certificate that is issued even after the date of notification in 2019.
Candidates down in the Merit List to be Called for Empanelment
In case of shortfall in empanelment of candidates or other exigencies, RRB reserves the right to utilize the candidates down the merit list if required, as per the merit and option given by them.
20 Time Unique Candidates Shortlisted for CBT 2
20 times unique candidates were shortlisted for CBT 2. RRBs had notified about the list of additional candidates for each pay levels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Percentile-Based Normalisation
RRB wise 2nd Stage CBT for each Pay Level with all candidates of one RRB accommodated in a single shift which should eliminate normalization. Wherever single shift is not possible because of capacity constraints or otherwise, percentile-based normalisation is done
RRB NTPC 2022 Vacancies Revised
Railway RRB NTPC exam vacancies have been revised. The number of vacancies for Ex-Servicemen was revised to 10 per cent out of the total vacancies. The vacancies for PwBD were reduced to zero for category no.3 in Level-5 posts such as Goods Guard, Senior Clerk Cum Typist and Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk. The number of vacancies were increased from 35,208 to 35,281.
RRB NTPC Kolkata Vacancies Increased
CEN NTPC Kolkata vacancies have been increased to 3,022. The number of vacancies has been increased after the Indian Railways added posts in Kolkata Metro Railway.
RRB NTPC Result 2022
The RRB NTPC final result for level 3 has been announced. RRB NTPC final result 2022 has been announced on the official website in PDF form. The result PDF comprises the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Earlier, the final results for Level 6 and 5 posts were announced.
RRB NTPC Cutoff 2022
RRB NTPC final cutoff 2022 for Level 3 has been been announced. The cutoff has been released separately for different posts and categories in PDF form. On the basis of the cutoff marks, candidates are empanelled to the various railway zones under different posts.
RRB CEN NTPC 2022 Notification
Railway boards had released CEN NTPC 2022 notification on February 28, 2019. Through this recruitment process, a total of 35,281 vacancies will be filled for the post of Non-Technical Popular Categories. A total of 1,26,30,885 applications had been received for the exam.

RRB NTPC application form was available online. The application form was released on March 1, 2019. The last date to apply for RRB NTPC was March 31, 2019. The last date of fee payment was April 5, 2019. The final date of submission of the application form was April 12, 2019.

RRB NTPC selection process comprises various stages such as first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), second stage CBT, typing skill test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (conducted as per posts), and document verification/medical examination. The post-wise RRB NTPC selection process is given below:
Station Master and Traffic Assistant: The selection process of Station Master and Traffic Assistant includes two-stage CBTs, CBAT, document verification, and medical exam.
Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper: The selection for these posts includes two-stage CBTs, Typing Skill Test, document verification, and medical exam.
Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice: The selection for these posts include two-stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.

RRB NTPC Exam Centres 2022
RRB NTPC Typing Skill test was conducted on August 12.The exam city intimation link for CBTST was activated on August 4. RRB Guwahati had activated the exam city intimation link for CBT 2 on August 4. To check exam city, candidates were required to login with user ID and password. The details related to exam centre and date were mentioned on the admit card. Candidates were scheduled for all their exams in the same city, but the RRB NTPC exam center may vary. Each candidate had a common city intimation slip.

RRB NTPC Answer Key 2022
RRB Guwahati released RRB NTPC CBT 2 answer key 2022 on August 20. RRB Guwahati candidates could login to view their RRB NTPC answer key 2022 for CBT 2, question paper and raise objections for Level 5, 2 and 3. To download RRB NTPC answer key, candidates were required to enter user ID and password. RRB NTPC answer key 2022 for stage 2 exam was available from June 22 to 27 for level 2, 3 and 5. Candidates could raise objections online against RRB NTPC answer key by paying INR 50.

RRB NTPC Question Papers 2022
RRB NTPC stage 2 question papers 2022 for level 2, 3 and 5 was available from June 22 to 27. RRB NTPC question papers were released for all exam shifts. Candidates who are planning to appear for the RRB NTPC exam in the future must solve the question papers to know the weightage of topics, type of questions asked in the exam, difficulty level of questions, and many more.
RRB NTPC CBAT Exam Analysis 2022
The overall difficulty level of the CBAT exam was moderate. Students observed changes in the exam pattern for CBAT. The changes were observed in the 'Spatial Scanning' and Sorting Test Batteries. The answer options given to the Spatial test battery were 10, earlier it used to be five. The time allotted for this test battery was changed from 8 min to 6 min. The time duration of the sorting test was too changed from 8 min to 6 min. Many students complained that since the answer options were too many in the Spatial battery, they had to scroll the mouse and it was not working too. Students had to use the arrow key to check the answer options. This resulted in consuming the time of candidates.

RRB NTPC Admit card 2022 for document verification was released online. To download the admit card, candidates were requred to enter user ID and password.

Along with the admit card, candidates need to bring the following documents:
- Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate as Proof for Date of Birth and Matriculation Qualification
- Class 12 or equivalent certificate
- Graduation certificate
- SC/ST certificate in the format
- OBC-NCL certificate
- Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC-NCL candidates
- Income and Asset Certificate to be produced by economically weaker sections
- Income Certificate for waiving examination fee for economically backward classes
- Minority community declarations on non-judicial stamp
- Original discharge certificate for ex-servicemen
- Medical certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
- Self-declaration for ex-servicemen
- NOC from serving employees with date of appointment from current employer
- NOC from Serving Defense Personnel (ExSM) with probable date of discharge
- Gazette notification and/or any legal document in case of formal change of name
- Receipt of offline payment if made through a challan at SBI branch or Pay-in-slip at computerized Post Office.
- Self-Certification by the Transgender candidates
- J & K domicile certificate, if applicable.
- Certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India
- Decree of divorce/judicial separation from the competent court of law as applicable and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried
- Death Certificate of husband in case of widow and Affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried
- Ex SM candidates who secure civil employment after applying for this exam should give self-declaration to the concerned employer about the details of application against the exam as soon as they join. The acknowledged copy of this declaration along with NOC from the civil employer should be produced during document verification

- This job profile demands the person to be in charge of traffic signals.
- He/She might have to work in shifts depending upon the movement and management of trains.
- The onboarding process provides 45 days of training.
- Job Profile for Goods Guard
- Manages the running of a goods train and checks for loose ends in the train.
- Coordinates with the Station Master regarding the arrival and departure.
- Manages the condition of the train (Vehicle Guidance Report, cross-checking safety requirements of the train).
- There is no fixed timing for work hence, this post requires high flexibility. Training is provided in your Zonal Training Institute
- Works with Station Master and communicates information about the arrival and departure of trains, etc.
Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk
- Candidates must have good typing efficiency.
- Manages junior clerks in the departments.
- Works in various departments(engineering departments-electrical, electronics, mechanical, etc.).
- Working hours are fixed.
Senior Clerk cum Typist
- Candidates must have good typing efficiency.
- Manages and supervises junior clerks in the departments.
- Works in various departments(engineering departments-electrical, electronics, mechanical, etc.).
- Working hours are fixed.
Junior Account Assistant cum Typist
- Provides administrative support to the accountants along with assisting with the clerical task of typing.
- Work involves accounting terminologies or using spreadsheets.
- Keeps the accounts of the railway according to the rules.
- Assists in Complies the Railway Budget from various departments.
- The candidate has to pass the Computer Based Test(Hindi/English proficiency). He has to work in various departments.
Senior Time Keeper
- They Maintain the time records of the movement of the trains hence, they have to be in sync with the train network.
- The workload is high as this post requires a great deal of management of time records.
- The person has to work in different shifts (focus and flexibility).
- The training period will be 45 days after selection.
Commercial Apprentice
- The person is a mid-level multi-skilled supervisor.
- Has to maintain the balance between the field staff and people in the higher level of the bureaucracy.
- Training period- 2 years of training duty as Commercial Clerks, Goods clerks, Commercial Inspectors, Zonal/Divisional Headquarter Inspector, etc.
Station Master
- As the name suggests, the person is in charge of the station.
- The person is responsible for the smooth arrival/departure of the trains in a punctual manner.
- Has to make sure passengers are provided with all the basic amenities in the railway station.
- The person is the person of contact at the railway station.
- Bigger stations have more than one station master.

RRB NTPC Exam: What is the role of NRA?
Going forward, the RRB NTPC Prelims will be conducted by NRA, set up with the approval of the Union Cabinet. A Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be conducted to appoint candidates for Group B and C posts. However, the stages for the further selection of candidates will be done by the RRBs.
