The application form process is simple if done properly. The mode of registration is online, with each step being mandatory. Students willing to apply must complete their VITEEE 2027 application form by visiting the official VIT admission portal. The process can be checked below-

VIT Slotbooking 2027

Unlike other entrance exams where exam dates are pre-assigned randomly. VIT uses an online portal/system for slot booking, which is called VIT online test booking system (OTBS). Only registered candidates, can book their VITEEE exam slots at OTBS. 

• During VITEEE slot booking, students will have to select their exam date and slot time

• The system works on first-come-first-serve basis and operates in real time.

• The VIT 2027 slot booking window remains active for two to three days.

• If a student misses deadline, they will be automatically allocated an exam date and slot depending on availability.

How to download VITEEE Admit Card 2027

Once the slot booking is completed, students will be able to download their hall ticket for VIT 2027 entrance exam. The VITEEE admit card is issued to student 48 hours before their allocated exam date. The admit card can be download at VIT OTBS portal, using their application number and password. The admit card of VITEEE will have following details -

• Candidate’s roll number and name

• Test centre address 

• Exam date and time

• VIT Exam Hall Instructions, etc.

VITEEE 2027 Result and Rank Preparation

VIT Vellore University, does not release any merit list or rank list. It simply uses equi-percentile method for score nomalisation across multiple test sessions. Candidates who appeared for VIT entrance exam will be eligible to check their results. The VITEEE 2027 result date and time will be notified to students on their registered email ID and on official website. To check VITEEE result rank and scores, candidates need to provide their application number and password. 

VITEEE Counselling 2027

VIT University will start VITEEE counselling after result declaration. However, the VITEEE counselling dates will be uploaded on VIT candidate portal soon after results. The counselling for VIT 2027 admission will be done online in five phases in rank-wise format. Candidates who meet VIT cutoff can participate in counselling.

The counselling is common for all campuses. Short-listed candidates will be eligible for counselling in phases based on their obtained rank. Once a seat is allocated, candidates cannot change their branch/category or campus. The VITEEE counselling fee is INR 5900 (NON-REFUNDABLE). However, it is adjusted or separate from advance tuition fee paid during seat allocation.

VIT Fee Categories

VIT uses a unique 5-category fee structure for its branches. After the seat allotment, students will have to pay advance and balance fee on required dates. As per the VITEEE category-wise fee structure, the top rankers get to pay lowest tuition fee, and as the VIT rank goes up, the tuition fee also increases. As seats fill up, the same engineering branch opens up under higher categories. 

• Category 1 has lowest tuition fee and 

• Category 5 has higher tuition fees

VITEEE 2027: Important Things to Note

Before VIT admission 2027 begins, students must keep the following things in mind -

• VIT University do not accept any other entrance test scores

• Candidates must check have 60% aggregate in PCM/PCB with 50% marks mandatory in Maths/Biology

• There is no facility for VITEEE 2027 application form correction. Therefore, ensure that you fill all details correctly. 

• After VIT registration is completed, official mock test link will be activated where students can attempt for free. 

• During the slot booking, there is no facility to change your test date or time.

• VIT University do not release VITEEE answer key or question paper. Also, no answer key challenge is offered. 

• Results once declared cannot be reevaluated or re-checked.

• CSE at VIT Vellore is the most demanding branch. The closing rank usually under 2500 for CSE core.
