SSC GD Constable result 2022 for DME will be released soon. The Detailed Medical Examination (DME) is being conducted at the designed exam centres till October 4. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is the designated authority to conduct the DME for the candidates who cleared the SSC GD written exam. CRPF released the admit card for the DMEs on  September 3. SSC selected 92,877 candidates for DME and the total number of vacancies for SSC GD exam 2021-22 is 22,424 for males and 2,847 for females.

Candidates are required to download and carry the admit card to the exam centre to appear in the exam. The candidates will be required to carry one government identity proof and four passport-size photographs with the admit card to get permission for appearing in the examination. SSC GD Constable exam 2022 PST/PET result was released online on August 12

SSC GD PET/PST was conducted from May 18 to June 9 across the nation at the designated exam centres by CRPF. The Commission also released the SSC GD cutoff for all the states separately. Government of India reserved 10 per cent of posts in the SSC GD Constable exams for the Agniveer candidates who will complete their four years tenure in service and apply for the exam. The first batch of Agniveer will be available four years from now. 

SSC GD 2023 notification is scheduled to be released on December 10, 2022. The last date to apply for the SSC GD exam will be January 19, 2023. SSC GD 2022 (Tier-I) exam will be conducted in March/April 2023 as per the released exam calendar.

What is SSC GD Constable Exam?

Full form of the SSC GD Constable exam is the Constable General Duty (GD) exam. SSC GD Constable exam is a national-level exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). SSC Constable exam is a popular exam among candidates because of its eligibility criteria, salary and the pride associated with working in the security forces. It is conducted to recruit candidates for the posts of Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (General Duty) in the following Central Armed Police Forces:

SSC GD 2022 Result

SSC GD DME 2022 result will be released soon after the completion of DME by CRPF. The exam conducting authority will send the compilation of the result confidentially to the SSC and The commission will then release the result. SSC GD 2022 results for the Physical Standard Test (PST) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) has been released. The PET/PST was conducted by CAPFs. The CAPF sent its recommendations. The qualified candidates will be called for the DME phase.

SSC GD 2022 Admit Card

SSC GD DME dates and admit cards was released by CRPF. Admit card is the official information about the exam date and venue of the examination. SSC GD 2022 Cutoff

The SSC GD cutoff 2022 for the written exam (CBT) will be released along with the PST/PET result. But the PST/PET exam is a qualifying exam only and there is no concept of cutoff in this stage of the SSC Constable exam. For all the other stages of exams, the Commission releases post-wise and category-wise cutoffs. In addition to that, the cutoff is released for each state separately. SSC GD 2022 Answer Key

SSC GD answer key 2022 was released after the exam. The Commission released the tentative answer key within ten days of the Computer Based Exam (CBE). SSC released the provisional answer key for the GD written exam conducted from November 16 to December 15, 2021, across the nation as the CBE. SSC GD Eligibility 2022-23

SSC GD Constable eligibility criteria contribute to the higher number of applications in the exam because the educational requirement is Matric/High School only. The SSC GD notification prescribes all the conditions of eligibility criteria for the SSC GD exam. The SSC GD eligibility criteria are defined for the candidates in terms of the following components.

Age limit for SSC GD Exam 2022

Candidates should be aged between 18 and 23 years as per the age norms given in the official notification. The age will be counted from January 1, 2023.

Educational Qualifications required for SSC GD Exam

Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination (Class 10) are not eligible for the exam.

The candidate should read and understand the SSC GD eligibility criteria and then only fill out the application because the Commission can cancel the candidature of the candidate if he or she do not conform to any of the eligibility condition.

SSC GD Exam Centres 2022-23

SSC GD exam is conducted as a Computer-Based Examination (CBE). CBE requires dedicated internet connectivity and cyber security. Hence, special examination centres are designated for the exam. CBE is conducted online in over 50 cities. The candidates need to select three SSC GD exam centres in the online application form. Based on the exam centres selected, the candidate is assigned to a particular region and that regional officer assigns the exam centre to the candidate. The Commission reserve the right to allot the examination centre.

SSC GD Syllabus 2022-23

SSC GD syllabus is the key to the success in the exam. The candidates need to see the SSC GD syllabus and make a note of the topics to be prepared for the exam. The candidates must prepare for each of the topics and try to score maximum marks in the CBE.

SSC GD Exam Pattern 2022-23

SSC GD exam pattern is notified in the official notification. The first stage of the SSC GD Constable exam is a CBE conducted online at the designated exam centres. The candidates are required to score maximum marks here because the marks secured at this stage will be considered for the SSC GD result (final). Candidates need to solve 100 questions in 90 minutes. SSC GD exam pattern is released with the official notification every time and the exam process is governed as per the details given in the official notification. Each question carries one mark and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The structure of the SSC GD CBE is as follows.

SSC GD Preparation 2022-23

The candidates must prepare all the topics given in the syllabus. After initial SSC GD preparation, the candidates need to attempt the mock test and the previous years' question papers. It would be more helpful if the candidates attempt the previous year's question papers in a time-bound manner. After calculating their marks, the candidate should compare them with the cutoffs of that year. It will provide them with a clear picture of their preparation. SSC GD Selection Process

SSC GD selection process starts with the release of notification. The official SSC GD notification is the first official information about the number of vacancies, exam dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and other important information. The candidates must read the SSC GD Constable notification to understand all the eligibility conditions given in the official notification.


SSC GD selection process consists of the application process, CBE, PET, PST and medical examination. The complete steps of the selection process are as explained below:

Step 1: SSC GD Application

The first and foremost step of the recruitment process is filling in the application form. Candidates need to fill out the application form online on the official website of SSC. The application fee for all candidates is INR 100 (women/SC/ST/ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment). 

Step 2: SSC GD admit card

SSC GD Constable admit card is issued four days before the exam. Candidates need to download the SSC GD Constable admit card from the official regional websites of the commission by entering the required login credentials and date of birth. The admit cards for PET/PST and DME/RME are uploaded by CRPF. 

Step 3: SSC GD Computer-Based Exam

SSC GD CBE is the first of the three stages. SSC GD CBE is conducted at designated exam centres across the nation. The test carries 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks. The question paper is divided into four parts - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. The difficulty level of questions is of matriculation level.

Based on the performance of CBE, candidates are shortlisted for physical tests such as PET and PST. SSC GD PET/PST is the qualifying exam. The tests are conducted at various centres finalised by the PET conducting body such as CAPFs.

Step 5: SSC GD Medical Exam

Candidates who qualify PET/PST exam then need to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and sometimes Review Medical Examination, conducted by designated Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

Step 6: SSC GD result

SSC GD result is the final step of the selection process. The selected candidates are called to the respective force headquartered for the appointment.
