SSC GD 2023: The CRPF is going to conduct the SSC GD PET/PST exam 2022-23 at BSF Nadia-1 Centre from June 1 to 6, 2023. The SSC GD Physical admit card 2023 is now available for download at the CRPF website for 3,600 candidates who will be appearing again for the PET/PST examination at BSF Nadia-1 Centre. SSC GD PET/PST result 2023 will be released soon by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The SSC GD final result 2023 will reveal the number of candidates who will be shortlisted for the next round, that is, Detailed Medical Examination(DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME).

The SSC GD PET/PST 2022-23 exam was conducted from May 1 to 15, 2023 in over 200 centres across India. The SSC GD marks 2022-23 of the CBE were released on May 8, 2023. The SSC GD scores or marks have been released for the qualified and non-qualified candidates. Candidates could view their SSC GD scores till May 23, 2023.

The SSC GD final answer key 2022-23 was released by the Commission on April 17, 2023, along with the question papers. The final answer keys was available online till May 8, 2023. The SSC GD Result 2022 was released on April 8, 2023, along with the category-wise cutoff marks. SSC GD Final Result 2023

The SSC GD PET/PST result 2023 will be released soon. The PST/PET event of the CT (GD) Exam 2022-23 in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB for qualified/ shortlisted candidates was held from May 1, 2023, to May 15, 2023. SSC GD 2023 Notification 

The SSC GD 2022-23 notification was released by the commission on its official website on October 27, 2022. The last date to apply for the SSC GD exam 2022-23 was November 30, 2022, and the deadline to submit the application fee was December 1, 2022.  The SSC GD 2022 exam was a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), which will be followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), and Medical Test. Moreover, the Commission changed the exam pattern of the SSC GD 2022-23 exam. 

The official notification mentioned the number of SSC GD vacancies for male and female candidates separately. The highest number of vacancies are notified for Border Security Force (BSF). CRPF will be the nodal agency to conduct the physical and medical examinations of the candidates. SSC GD 2023 Form

The SSC GD form 2022-23 was activated with the release of the official notification, and the candidates had clicked on the 'SSC GD apply online' link to fill out the application form online. The SSC GD registration number is essential for filling out the application. The last date to apply online for the SSC GD 2022-23 exam was November 30, 2022. The notification was released without any prior indication in the SSC exam calendar. The candidates need to fill out the application as early as possible to avoid any last-minute server issues. SSC did not release the application correction dates. The Commission does not allow the application correction for this examination.

SSC GD Exam Pattern 2023 (New)

The time allotted for the exam is one hour now instead of 90 minutes earlier. The maximum marks are now increased to 160 from 100. The number of questions has been reduced from 100 to 80 and the marks allotted to one question are increased from one to two marks. Consequently the negative marking for the incorrect answers in increased from 0.25 marks to 0.50 marks. The CBE is followed by the PST, PET and Medical Examination. The candidates need to qualify for all the stages of the SSC GD exam to get finally selected in the final result.

SSC GD Eligibility 2023 

SSC GD eligibility criteria contribute to the higher number of applications in the exam because the educational requirement is Matric/High School only. The SSC GD notification prescribes all the conditions of eligibility criteria for the SSC GD exam. SSC GD Selection Process 2023 

SSC GD selection process started with the release of notification. The official SSC GD notification is the first official information about the number of vacancies, exam dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and other important information. SSC_GD_2021_Selection_Process

SSC GD selection process consists of the application process, CBE, PET, PST and medical examination. The complete steps of the selection process are as explained below:

Step 1: SSC GD Application

The first and foremost step of the recruitment process is filling in the application form. Candidates need to fill out the application form online on the official website of SSC. The application fee for all candidates is INR 100 (women/SC/ST/ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from fee payment). 

Step 2: SSC GD Admit Card

SSC GD Constable admit card is issued four days before the exam. Candidates need to download the SSC GD Constable admit card from the official regional websites of the commission by entering the required login credentials and date of birth. The admit cards for PET/PST and DME/RME are uploaded by CRPF. 

Step 3: SSC GD Computer-Based Exam

SSC GD CBE is the first of the three stages. SSC GD CBE is conducted at designated exam centres across the nation. The test carries 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks. The question paper is divided into four parts - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. The difficulty level of questions is of matriculation level.

Step 4: SSC GD PET/PST

Based on the performance of CBE, candidates are shortlisted for physical tests such as PET and PST. SSC GD PET/PST is the qualifying exam. The tests are conducted at various centres finalised by the PET conducting body such as CAPFs.

Step 5: SSC GD Medical Exam

Candidates who qualify PET/PST exam then need to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and sometimes Review Medical Examination, conducted by designated Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

Step 6: SSC GD Result

SSC GD result is the final step of the selection process. The selected candidates are called to the respective force headquartered for the appointment.

SSC GD Application Process 2023 

The last date to apply for the SSC GD Constable 2022-23 application was November 30, 2022 and the deadline to submit the application fee was December 1, 2022. The official SSC GD 2022-23 notification was released on October 27, 2022.  SSC GD forms can be filled out online only; no physical forms will be available to the candidates. The 'SSC GD apply online' link is available to the candidates only after their registration is complete. The SSC registration number is essential to filling out the SSC GD forms online. 

SSC GD 2023 Application Fee

The SSC GD Constable application fee is INR 100 for every candidate to register themselves. However, women, SC, ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee payment.

SSC GD 2023: How To Apply Online?

Candidates can find the step-by-step procedure for applying online for SSC GD 2023 recruitment below.

  • Visit the official website, ssc.nic.in.
  • A page with registration and login forms will be displayed.
  • If a candidate has already registered for SSC exams, then just fill in the login details to apply for the SSC GD 2023 Constable Exam. But if a candidate has not yet registered, he or she needs to fill out the registration form.
  • After logging in, go to "Apply now" and fill in the required details, including name, father's name, mother's name, education qualification, address, etc.
  • Now, fill in the communication address and upload your photo and signature.
  • Before submitting the form, preview the details.
  • After submitting the form, the next step is to pay the fee. The SSC GD 2023 application fee is acceptable in online and offline modes.
  • The candidate can pay the fee through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking/E-Challan if applicable.
  • Click submit, and the form will be submitted successfully.
  • Now, the SSC GD 2023 application process is complete, and you can take the printout for further use.

SSC GD Eligibility - Nationality

Candidates must be citizens of India.

SSC GD Age Limit

Candidates should be aged between 18 and 23 years as per the age norms given in the official notification. The age will be counted from January 1, 2023. Due to the unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, it has been decided by the Government to grant three (03) years of age relaxation beyond the respective prescribed upper age limit for all categories of candidates as a one-time measure for this recruitment.

Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in the normal course. However, after a relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.

SSC GD Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination (Class 10) are not eligible for the exam. The candidate should read and understand the SSC GD eligibility criteria and then only fill out the application because the Commission can cancel the candidature of the candidate if he or she do not conform to any of the eligibility condition.

SSC GD CBE was conducted from January 10 to February 14, 2023. SSC GD exam was conducted as a Computer-Based Examination (CBE). CBE requires dedicated internet connectivity and cyber security.
