A:

The DSSSB exam is conducted for multiple recruitments under the Subordinate Services of Delhi. The DSSSB exam process consists of a total of three stages. The stages are as follows:

  1. Tier 1 exam: This is the first stage, which is qualifying in nature. There are 200 objective-type questions to be attempted in two hours.

Q:   In which mode the DSSSB 2023 exam is conducted?

A:

The DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) exam is conducted in an online mode, also known as the computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam is conducted at various designated centers across Delhi.

In the online mode, the candidates have to answer the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on a computer screen. The candidates are given a limited time to answer the questions, after which the exam closes automatically. The online mode of the exam ensures a fair and transparent selection process and reduces the chances of errors in evaluation.

Candidates are advised to be familiar with the online mode of the exam and practice mock tests to get an idea of the exam pattern and time management. They should also ensure that they are comfortable with using a computer and navigating through the exam interface.

Q:   How is the DSSSB cut-off determined?

A:

The DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) Cut-off is determined by the board based on various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of vacancies available for the post. The board also takes into account the reservation policy and other relevant factors while deciding the cut-off.

The cut-off is the minimum score that a candidate must obtain in order to qualify for the next stage of the selection process or for final selection. The cut-off may vary for different categories and posts, and the board may release separate cut-offs for each category.

Once the exam is conducted and the results are declared, the board analyses the performance of the candidates and decides the cut-off. The board may also consult with subject matter experts and other stakeholders while deciding the cut-off.
