RRB Group D 2022: Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) have announced RRB Group D 2022 dates for document verification. The document verification for RRC Mumbai will be conducted from January 30 to February 8, 2023. Along with the DV dates, RRCs have also released the cut off marks for calling candidates for document verification. RRCs are in the process of announcing RRB Group D result 2022 for PET immediately after the completion of the exam. Candidates qualifying the PET are called for document verification and medical exam.
RRB Group D PET is being conducted from January 10, 2023 onwards. The admit cards for PET have been released by the respective RRCs. PET for RRC Eastern Railway will be conducted from January 30 to Febuary 7, 2023. PET for RRC Northern Railway was conducted from January 16 to 20, 2023. The PET for RRC North Western Railway was conducted from January 16 to 20, 2023. The PET for RRC North East Frontier Railway was conducted from January 16 to 23, 2023. RRC Prayagraj conducted the PET from January 16 onwards. RRC Western Railway conducted PET for a total of 27,439 candidates from January 11 to 21, 2023 onwards. RRC Bhubaneshwar conducted PET from January 10 to 12, 2023.
Earlier, RRC Chennai had announced RRB Group D PET date. The PET for this region was conducted from January 19, 2023 onwards. The PET for Secunderabad was conducted from January 12, 2023 onwards.
RRB Group D result 2022 for CBT was announced on December 22. However, the result for few regions were announced on December 23. The result was made available on the respective official website of RRBs in PDF form.
The Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAAs) are exempted from appearing for PET. The medical exam for the shortlisted candidates of PET will be conducted in February 2023. RRB Group D 2022 exam was conducted from August 17 to October 11.
The transgender candidates were given relaxation in the PET. Their PET standards were treated equivalent to the PET standards for female candidates. The final appointment of candidates will be done by March/April 2023.

RRB Group D is a national-level exam conducted by the RRBs on behalf of the Railway Recruitment Cells (RRC). RRB Group D exam is an excellent career opportunity after Class 10 who wish to join the Indian Railways. RRB Group D Admit Card 2022
RRB Group D admit card 2022 for document verification will be released soon. Earlier, the admit card for PET was released for all the qualified candidates of CBT. Candidates have been called for document verification based on their performance in PET as well as CBT. To download the RRB Group D admit card from the respective regional websites of RRCs, candidates need to login with user ID and password. RRB Group D admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam. The admit card for PET has been issued to those candidates who have successfully cleared CBT of RRC Group D Level-1 2022.
RRB Group D Exam Day Guidelines
The exam day guidelines for RRB Group D exam are given below:
- In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates need to wear masks all the time inside the exam centre. They need to maintain a safe distance from one another
- Candidates are also allowed to carry hand-sanitiser inside the exam centre
- Candidates need to carry their RRB Group D admit card along with photo-identity proof to the examination centre
- Impersonation is prohibited, and strict action will be taken if anyone is found doing so
- Candidates need to reach the exam centre on time
- Candidates reaching the exam centre late will not be allowed to appear in the exam
- No electronic devices are allowed inside the examination centre
- Copying, cheating, or any other kind of malpractices are prohibited
RRB Group D Result
RRB Group D result 2022 for PET are being announced after the completion of the test. The roll numbers of the qualified candidates are being made available on the notice board of the PET exam centre. Candidates who qualified the PET are called for document verification and medical exam. The final merit list for RRB Group D is prepared based on the performance in CBT provided candidates qualify PET, document verification and medical exam. RRB Group D result for CBT was announced on December 22.

RRB Group D Cutoff
RRB Group D cutoff 2022 was announced along with the result on December 22. The cutoff was made available in PDF form for different regions, categories, and posts. Besides RRB Group D cut off 2022, candidates were required to secure the qualifying marks. The qualifying marks were 40 for the General and EWS categories and 30 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST.

RRB Group D 2022 Exam Date
RRB Group D 2022 CBT exam was conducted successfully by the Railway Recruitment Boards. The Phase 1 CBT exam was conducted from August 17 to 25. The Phase 2 exam was conducted from August 26 to September 8. The Phase 3 exam was conducted from September 8. RRB Group D Phase 4 exam was conducted from September 19 to October 7, 2022. RRB Group D Phase 5 exam was conducted on October 6 and 11.
Intially, the exam was scheduled to be held from April to June 2021, but, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, the CBT dates were postponed. RRB Group D recruitment notification was released in 2019, however, the exam is taking place in 2022. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be conducted in September-October 2019. However, due to the non-finalisation of the exam conducting agency, the exam could not be conducted.
RRB Group D exam was scheduled to be conducted from February 23, 2022 in multiple phases. However, the exam was put on hold due to the protests by students against the introduction of CBT 2 exam.
RRB Group D Answer Key
RRBs has released the RRB Group D final answer key 2022 for CBT along with the result. To download the RRB Group D final answer key, candidates need to login on with their user ID and password. The final answer key has been released after examining the objections submitted by candidates. The provisional answer key was released on October 14. Along with the provisional answer key, RRBs also released the candidate's response sheet and question papers. Candidates could also raise objections against the answer key and question papers by paying INR 50.
RRB Group D 2022 Question Papers
RRB Group D question papers 2022 for the first stage CBT was released along with the answer key on October 14. The question papers were released for different shifts of the exam in PDF form. Candidates could also challenge the question papers if they have any doubts with regard to any question.

RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 for Phase 5
The overall paper of Phase 5 was moderate. Maximum questions in Reasoning were asked from Seating Arrangment. The Periodic table questions were easy. In GK, questions were asked major dhayanchand award 2021, panchayati raj, etc. There were four to five questions from Current Affairs. The questions were based on the events that took place in 2021 and 2022.

RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 for Phase 4
The overall difficulty level of RRB Group D Phase 4 exam was easy to moderate. The General Awareness questions were tough. The questions in Maths were easy. The overall difficulty level of the Reasoning section was moderate. Candidates can check below RRB Group D exam analysis 2022 for Phase 4.
RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 for Phase 3
The overall difficulty of the paper was moderate to difficult. Questions were asked from the Articles of the Constitution in polity. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Seating Arrangement (Circular and Linear Seating Arrangement), Coding-Decoding. In Maths, questions were asked from Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Work and Time, Speed. In General Science, questions were asked from Volume of Cylinder, Chemical Reactions, and Electric Current. There were fewer questions from Biology in General Science. In GK, questions were asked from the winner of IPL 2022, Finance Commission, Most Polluted River in India, Ozone Layer, etc. In Physics, there was one question what will an astronaut see from space? RRB Group D Exam Analysis 2022 for Phase 2
The difficulty level of Phase 2 exam remained the same as the Phase 1 exam, i.e. moderate. The Maths section was moderate, General Awareness & Current Affairs section was moderate, General Science section was easy to moderate and General Intelligence section was easy.

The General Science and General Awareness and Current Affairs sections were moderate to difficult. The difficulty level of Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning sections were moderate. The Chemistry portion of General Science was difficult. In Biology, one question was asked from the Photosynthesis reaction. Questions in Maths were asked from Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Bar Graph, Average, Trigonmetry, Height and Distance. Questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning were asked from Coding Decoding, Number Series, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation. In Physics, Statement-Based and Velocity questions were asked.In GA, one question was asked from periyar river.

RRB Group D Notification 2022
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) had released the official notification for RRB Group D Level 1 recruitment on February 23, 2019. RRB will be recruiting for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Pointsman, Level-I posts through three stages selection process- CBT, PET, and Medical/Document Verification.
RRB Group D Selection Process 2022
The selection process comprises single stage CBT, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and medical examination. Candidates qualifying the CBT is called for PET. Based on the performance in CBT and PET, candidates are called for document verification and medical exam. Candidates can check below the complete selection process of RRB Group D exam.
RRB Group D Level I Online Application
RRB Group D 2022 application status link was activated online. The link to view the application status is available till the completion of CBT. RRB Group D application status was released so that candidates can check the eligibility/ineligibility status of their applications. To check the application status, candidates need to enter registration number/date of birth and security code.
RRB Group D application form was available from March 12 to April 12, 2019. The application fee was INR 500 (for all candidates expected the fee concession categories). The fee for PwBD/ Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class was INR 250. Candidates could pay the fee both online and offline.
Steps to Apply for RRB Group D
- Visit the official website-http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/
- Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
- Register for the exam by entering details such as name, date of birth and father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/Matric registration number, year of passing, mobile number, email ID and then submit the registration form
- Upon registration, registration number and password are generated
- In Part I of the application page, provide the details of educational qualification, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward Class and Age Relaxation and other details
- In Part II of the application page, enter priority/preference of the RRB Group D posts
- Pay the application fees using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan
- Choose the exam languages-Hindi, English, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu
- Fill details of photo ID card
- Enter bank details for fee refund
- Upload scanned images of photograph, signature and category certificate for SC/ST candidates
- Agree to the terms and conditions and submit the application form

RRB Group D 2022 Eligibility Criteria Revised
RRBs had revised RRB Group D eligibility criteria for aspirants who wish to apply for the exam in future. The minimum education qualification for candidates applying to the technical departments that is Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Signal & Telecom departments) and catering wing of Railways will be Class 10 pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by National Council for Vocational Training or Class 10 pass plus ITI. The revised eligibility criteria is not applicable for candidates who had applied for the ongoing Railway Group D exam. Nationality
A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Candidates who had passed Class 10 (High School) from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or held National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) provided by NCVT are eligible to apply for RRB Group D recruitment exam.

RRB Group D 2022 Level-I Exam Pattern
RRB Group D exam pattern 2022 comprises CBT, Document Verification and Medical Examination. According to the RRB Group D exam pattern, the CBT consists of sections, such as General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. The duration of CBTs is 90 minutes. For each correct answer in CBT, candidates score one mark. There is also negative marking for wrong answers, 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answers. CBT is held in 15 languages besides English and Hindi. Candidates qualifying CBT exam are called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This is followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. RRB Group D 2022 New Changes
Some of new changes announced in RRB Group D 2022 recruitment process are given below:
- Ministry of Railways has decided to include issues of Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAAs) trained in Railways
- The Ministry of Railways has decided that CCAAs trained in the railway establishments will be given due weightage for the training done by them in Railways Establishments in preparation of the final merit list after the conduct of CBT for RRB Group D.
- CCAAs are exempted from Physical Efficiency Test
- RRC wise CBT was held for Level-1. Also maximum available capacity is recommended to be used, to significantly reduce the number of shifts involved for each RRC and to speed up the examination process
- It has been decided to follow revised methodology with special conditions for conduct of CBT for Level-1 as there is no CBT 2 exam

The application fee is refunded once candidates appear for the CBT exam. Candidates belonging to SC / ST/ ExSM/ PwBD/ Female/ Minority/EBC/Transgender categories will be entitled to get a full refund of their examination fees, which is INR 250. Whereas candidates belonging to General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, which is INR 400 after deducting the bank charges. Earlier, RRBs had activated RRB Group D application form 2022 modification link for Course Completed ACT Apprentices (CCAAs). The application modification link was available only for two days, I. e. September 12 and 13, 2022. Candidates who had declared their qualifications as ITI/NAC or CCAA but did not indicate that they are trained CCAAs from Railway Establishments (on or before April 12, 2019) could use the application modification link to enter the required details. Through the modification link, candidates could enter CCAA data including marks pertaining to NCVT examination if not done earlier. RRBs had earlier activated the RRB Group D 2022 application status again for candidates. The application status can be checked till the completion of CBT. Through RRB Group D application status, candidates can view the eligibility/ineligibility status of their applications. To check the application status, candidates need to enter registration number/date of birth and security code.
