UPPSC UPPCS exam answer key 2022 has been released online on June 16. The Commission released the UPPCS prelims 2022 answer key online only. The candidates can download the official answer key and check their answers. In case, the candidates found any of the answers incorrect, they can send their representations till June 23 in offline mode through post or personally. The UPPSC answer keys will be available online to download till June 22. The format for the representation is provided with the answer key notice. UPPSC Prelims exam 2022 was conducted across the state on June 12 in offline mode.

After considering the objections of the candidates, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will release the Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate Prelims exam (popularly called as UPPCS) result based on the final answer though it will release the same after the completion of the exam process.

The candidates who appeared in the exam shared their experiences with the paper. As per the candidates, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult. A higher number of questions were asked from the Current Affairs, History and General Science (Science and Technology) sections. The GS paper asks a good number of questions from the Ancient History section. The UPPSC PCS cutoff will remain low as the paper was unexpectedly tough. The General Studies Paper-II (CSAT paper) was at par with the previous year's paper and the candidates can easily score the qualifying marks in the paper. UPPSC PCS 2022 notification was released on March 16. The notification was issued for 250 vacancies. The UPPSC PCS main 2022 exam will be conducted from September 27.

What is UPPSC PCS?

UPPCS is the popular name of the exam- Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate Exam conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The UPPCS is the name derived from Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services. The UPPCS exam is conducted to recruit state government functionaries in provincial civil services and other state services. These functionaries get their posting in various important departments such as land records, land revenue, general administration and the like.

UPPSC UPPCS Answer Key 2022

UPPSC released the UPPCS prelims answer key on June 16.  The Commission invited objections from the candidates to suggest the corrections (if any) in the question or in the answer provided by the Commission. The last date to receive the objections is June 23. The Commission will form a committee to examine the objections received from the candidate. It will recommend the changes required in the tentative answer key. The Commission will consider the recommendations and will decide accordingly. The UPPSC answer key will serve as the basis to form the UPPCS Prelims result.

UPPSC PCS Exam Analysis 2022

UPPCS Exam is trading a new path after 2018 because of two reasons. The UPPSC had introduced the negative marking in the UPPCS prelims exam and changed the UPPCS main exam pattern also. UPPSC PCS 2022 Application Process

UPPSC UPPCS Applications were activated with the release of the advertisement on March 16. The last date to apply for the UPPSC 2022 exam was April 16. The Commission provided one month for the candidates to fill and submit their UPPSC 2022 application.

UPPSC PCS 2022 Eligibility Condition

The candidates should check all the eligibility conditions before filling out the UPPSC PCS 2022 application form. The commission may cancel the candidature of any candidates at any stage of recruitment. The eligibility criteria for the UPPCS Exam are given below.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must be a graduate to appear in the UPPSC PCS exam 2022. The candidates who are appearing in their graduation degree exam can also appear in the exam but they need to submit their final year mark sheet at the time of UPPCS main exam Detailed Application Form (DAF) submission. 

The candidates having any percentage in the degree course can fill the UPPCS application and can appear in the PCS exam. Besides, there are some specific educational qualifications required for some posts. The details are given below.

UPPSC PCS 2022 Age limit

The common age limit for all the positions is:

Minimum Age limit- 21 years

Maximum Age Limit - 40 years on July 1

The candidates born before July 2, 1982, and after July 1, 2001 are not eligible to appear in the UPPSC 2022 exam.

The age relaxation provided for the reserved category candidates is:

UPPSC UPPCS 2022 Exam Centres

UPPSC exam centres are notified in the official notification. The UPPCS prelims exam will be conducted at all the district levels. The UPPSC main exam will be conducted at three exam centres only. Both the exams are conducted in offline mode.

UPPSC PCS Selection Process

The UPPSC conducts the exam on the pattern of the UPSC IAS Exam. The UPPCS exam has three stages selection process and the candidates must pass all three stages of the UPPCS exam to qualify for the exam. The stages of the selection process are given below.

The prelims exam is the first stage of the UPPCS selection process. UPPSC conducts the prelims exam across the state in offline mode and around eight lakh candidates appear in this exam. This year, the UPPSC UPPCS prelims question paper was not in consonance with the previous year papers.

UPPSC PCS Personality Test (Viva Voce)

The personality test is the last stage of the UPPSC UPPCS exam. The commission has assigned 100 marks to the personality test, which makes it an important factor in deciding the final rank. The personality test revolves around the current events and the Detail Application Form (DAF) filled at the time of the main exam. 

The UPPSC conducts the personality test in the commission’s office premises and the candidates need to go to Prayagraj for the personality test. After the personality test, the UPPSC results will be declared. It will pave the way for the selection.


UPPSC syllabus is notified in the official notification. The candidates should refer to the syllabus and prepare each of the topics given in the syllabus. The candidates need to understand the exam because the syllabus explains the extent of the examination and its preparation. UPPSC UPPCS Result 2022

UPPSC will release the result within 30 days of the prelims exam. The UPPSC PCS prelims result is released online only. The commission selects twenty times candidates for the number of vacancies. The candidate can download 


UPPSC Prelims cutoff of previous years was released online on April 13, 2022. The Commission released the category-wise cutoff for all the groups. The cutoffs were released after the completion of the exam process. The candidates can check the UPPSC Cutoff of previous years to gain an insight regarding the passing marks for the prelims exam.
