MAT application process 2023 - Today is the last date to apply for MAT CBT 1 (December 2023 phase). The second CBT registration will end on December 11. Those who wish to appear for MAT in CBT mode must not miss the application deadline. Those who wish to appear for PBT mode, should submit the MAT 2023 application form by December 5, 2023. The IBT registrations will go on until December 14, 2023.
The MAT application form for PBT, CBT and IBT are same but the deadline are different. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam must submit the application form at AIMA MAT website as per the deadline, given below.
Any candidate who has completed graduation or is in the final year of a bachelor's degree course can fill the MAT 2023 application form. Those who have appeared for MAT earlier can also register again if they wish to improve their exam score. Â The fee to fill the MAT application form is INR 2,100 for single session. The fee payment to appear for the MAT exam is mandatory. The AIMA charges every candidates examination fee at the time of form filling. While filling the MAT application form the fee payment is to be done for acceptance of the candidature. The MAT application fees have been increased and the revised fees are as follows: Paper-Based Test (PBT): INR 2,100 Computer-Based Test (CBT): INR 2,100 Internet-Based Test (IBT): 2,100 Both PBT and CBT: INR 3,300 Candidates are required to pay the fee in online mode I. e. through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. Candidates must note that the MAT application form will not be submitted until the fee payment is done. Key points to keep in mind while filling the MAT application form is that the fee is non-refundable and there is no provision of form corrections. So, in case a candidate has made a mistake in the form, they will have to register again and fill a new form by paying the fee again. To take a re-test also, candidates have to fill a fresh MAT application form and pay the fee again.

MAT is conducted multiple times in a year. The upcoming MAT sessions are scheduled in September 2023. MAT PBT will be held on September, 2023, MAT CBT will be held on September 17. MAT IBTs will be held on September 2, 9, 10, 16. Earlier, the exams were held in May. The dates for May phase exams were: MAT PBT: May 21, 2023 MAT CBT: May 14 and June 4, 2023 MAT IBT: May 7, 13, 20 and 27, 2023 The schedule of MAT September 2023 sessions was released on July 10, 2023 and the schedule of MAT December2023 sessions will be released in October 2023. In both phases, the exam will be held in PBT, CBT and IBT modes. The PBT will be held once, the CBT will be held twice and the IBTs will be held four to five times. We will share the dates of MAT December 2023 here as soon as they are released.
MAT Application Process 2023: How to Apply?
MAT exam is conducted multiple times in a year. Candidates can choose to appear in MAT exam as per their preference of exam month and mode. They can also appear for the MAT2023 exam multiple times. Performance in the latest attempt will be considered for admission.Â
MAT application form 2023 is available on the official website of AIMA. The process of MAT registration for IBT, PBT and CBT mode comprises five steps as mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of AIMA MAT: www.bit.ly/MAT_2023
- Enter details such as Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth and set a password
- Confirm details and click on submit button
- An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number
- Verify phone number using the OTP
- New login will be sent on registered email ID
- Select test mode, test date and test details (for PBT or CBT you will have to select test cities)
- Upload a recent passport size photo and signature
- Select five MBA colleges of your preference
- Make the fee payment
- In the next page add personal details, academic details, address, etc.
- Mention whether you've taken any other MBA entrance exam and the source of information about MAT
- Click the declaration check box to complete the process

What is MAT Application Fees 2023?
MAT registration fee is same for all exam modes and can be paid online through credit card/debit card, net banking or mobile wallet. The fee amount has been increased from INR 1,950 TO INR 2,100 for December 2023 phase. Check the fee amount below for MAT 2023:

The MAT application fee is same for all exam modes. The fee amount to be paid is INR 2100 for every single attempt irrespective of the exam mode. If a candidate wishes to combine two attempts (e.g. IBT+IBT, PBT+CBT, IBT+PBT, IBT+CBT), then they will have to pay INR 1200 additionally. Those who opt for additional test will get the benefit of additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes.
If you wish to take the MAT exam in following combination, then you will have to pay INR 3,300.

MAT Application Form Filling: Mistakes to Avoid

Avoid spelling errors in the name while filling in MAT registration form. It should be as per the date of birth certificate or Class 10 certificate.

Check the fee payment status after making the payment to ensure the MAT application process is complete.

Details such as email ID, phone number and address must be valid and functional for smooth communication.
