Symbiosis Law School Pune offers a five-year BA LLB programme at the undergraduate level. The full form of BA LLB is Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law. This programme combines Bachelor of Arts courses such as history, sociology, and languages with professional legal knowledge. The BA LLB curriculum is spread across ten semesters.
Students who wish to pursue BA LLB at SLS Pune for the academic year 2025 must take the SLAT 2025 exam. The President and Chancellor of Symbiosis International is Prof. (Dr.) Shantaram Balwant Mujumdar. Prof. Majumdar established “SYMBIOSIS” in 1971 and has been awarded the “Padma Shri” in 2005, and the “Padma Bhushan” award in 2012.

SLS Pune has been a part of Symbiosis International since its inception, which provides it with valuable recognition and exposure. Symbiosis has within its ambit multiple institutions across 4 states and 6 cities in India and an off-shore location. Out of these, the Symbiosis Law School, Pune is the flagship institution.

Symbiosis Law School offers good placements package for its LLB course. As per the NIRF report 2023, 69 LLB and 88 LLM students were placed during SLS Pune placements 2022. Further, the median package offered to LLB and LLM students during SLS Pune placements 2022 was INR 8.20 LPA and INR 8.70 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of Symbiosis Law School Pune placements during the past years included Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shroff, Amarchand Mangaldas, Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan, AZB & Partners, Khaitan & Co, Crawford Bayley & Co, etc.
In order to be eligible for the BA LLB course at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, the student must possess at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidate) in her/his 10+2/Higher Secondary education. This allows the student to appear in the SLAT test that screens applicants for admissions in BA LLB.
After appearing in the SLAT test, the candidate must achieve scores above the cutoff level as stipulated by the SLS Noida management. The cutoff score for SLS Noida usually falls between 43-47 in SLAT.
Hostel facilities are available at Symbiosis Law School, Pune but there is no compulsion for a student to live in the hostel.
The choice is completely a student's and if they don't want to stay in the hostel, they can choose to.
If a person is from Pune itself or they want to stay somewhere other than the hostel, they can opt out of it. In short, it's not compulsory to stay at hostel.
