NIOS Board Exams 2023 Class 10, 12: Hall Ticket (Out for Practical), Date Sheet, Syllabus, Results

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) was established to cater to the needs of a mixed group of learners up to pre-degree level. The Open School was started in 1979 as a project with in-built flexibilities by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It was established by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) in 1989.  NIOS provides Secondary, Senior Secondary and Vocational courses through open and distance learning(ODL) mode. In addition, it also provided Open Basic Education and Elementary Teacher Education Programme.

NIOS provides education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode via incorporation of self-instructional print material, audio and video programmes supported by Personal Contact Programme (PCP) at the Accredited Institutions. These are further supplemented by Radio broadcast, TV programmes and Mukta Vidya Vani (audio streaming through the NIOS website).

The last date to fill in the registration form and fee payment for Oct/Nov exam was June 20, 2023, without late fee. The NIOS admission for class 12th and 10th is conducted twice in a year. The first session is for April - Block 1 and the second is for October - Block 2.The last date for Online Admission of Stream-2 for Academic session 2023-24 was 31st July, 2023. The last date for NIOS 10th and 12th admission was January 31, without any late fee, for the October session. Students could apply for NIOS admission with late fees till March 15. NIOS Registration Dates For Oct/Nov 2024 Exam

NIOS announced the registration dates for April-May 2024 Exam. The schedule for registration and payment of examination fees for secondary and Senior Secondary subjects to be conducted in April-May 2024 is as follows.

Students have to submit the scanned copy of documents like marksheet of class 8 (for admission in class 10), marksheet of class 10 (for admission in class 12), adhaar card, signature, etc. They should note down the enrollment number. They are advised to take a printout of NIOS registration form.

Students can check the NIOS 2023 exam fees for public and on-demand examinations in the table given below. They have to pay INR 250 per subject for theory exams.

NIOS On Demand 2023 exam for Class 10 were held from June 6, 2023 onwards. ODE registration and fee submission for the same was available on NIOS website from May 16th, 2023.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) had released NIOS Class 10 Result 2023 on June 25, 2023. The board had released the NIOS Class 12 Result 2023 for April/May 2023 exam on June 23, 2023. NIOS had released the NIOS Result 2022 for Oct/Nov public exams on January 20, 2023. Candidates can check their NIOS Result 2023 through the official website of NIOS using their enrolment number. The NIOS Result 2023 was made available online for Class 10, 12 students. Students could check the NIOS result 2023 by using Digilocker and sms. 

Students can check their NIOS Result 2023 by following the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official result portal of NIOS — results.nios.ac.in/home/public-exam
• Enter the enrollment number and captcha and click on 'submit'
• Download the result and take a print out for further reference

Before starting the preparation, students have to check the NIOS syllabus and NIOS subjects properly. Understanding the syllabus helps to make a proper plan for the exam. NIOS 12th syllabus is split into six categories A, B, C, D, E, and F. The NIOS 10th syllabus is divided into two groups A and B. Students can download the NIOS syllabus 2023 from the official website. 

NIOS releases the NIOS Exam Pattern 2023 for Class 10 and 12 on the official website. NIOS Class 10 exam pattern mentions the marking scheme, time duration, types of questions asked in the exams, etc. Class 12 students should understand the NIOS 12th exam pattern and prepare accordingly.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) had started with the Block-II admission cycle for Class 12th and 10th. Students should fill the NIOS 12th application form 2023. All the eligible students will be able to register themselves through the official NIOS website. Those who want admission for Class 10 have to fill in the NIOS 10th application form.

NIOS releases the NIOS question papers on its official website, nios.ac.in. Students enrolled in NIOS Class 10 can use the previous year’s question papers and answers to understand the grading structure, difficulty level, and key topics. They should download the NIOS 10th question papers and learn. Those who are preparing for the NIOS 12th exam can download the NIOS 12th question papers by clicking the given link. The National Institute of Open Schooling had released the NIOS exam date for class 10, 12 exams on the official website. The NIOS exam for the October session will be held from October 3 to November 8, 2023. NIOS practical exam October 2023 for class 10 and 12 will be held from September 16 to October 1, 2023. NIOS exam April-May session 2023 was held from April 6 to May 8, 2023.

The NIOS had released the hall ticket for practical exam in March 2023. The NIOS theory hall ticket 2023 was out on April 2, 2023. The NIOS releases NIOS admit cards for Class 10 and Class 12, theory and practical exams in online mode. Usually the NIOS admit card is released one month prior to the exam.
