ICSE Board Exams 2021-22: Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has successfully conducted the ICSE Class 10 exams. They were scheduled from April 25 to May 23. The ICSE Class 10 Result will be released in July. The semester 2 Result for ICSE Class 10 exam will be released at cisce.org and results.cisce.org and the students will be able to check their ICSE Sem 2 result 2022 using their UID and Index number. Class 10 ICSE result 2022 will also be made available at the CAREERS portal of the Council and through SMS. 
The Council had released the ICSE 10th result 2021-22 for Sem 1 exams earlier on February 7, 2022, at 10 am. 

The Semester 1 exams were conducted between November 29 and December 16, 2021, in offline mode. The questions asked in ICSE 10th 1st-semester exams 2021-22 were in MCQ format while semester 2 exams included subjective/objective questions. 

About ICSE

CISCE conducts the ICSE 10th exams every year. The ICSE examinations are usually conducted in February/March every year. However, this year, ICSE exam will be conducted in April and May months. All students who have cleared class 9th from schools affiliated to CISCE can apply for the ICSE 10th exams. The Council prescribes the ICSE syllabus, exam pattern. Students must also practice the previous years' question papers for better preparation for the exams. The admit card is issued to students 15-20 days before the examinations. This year too, the Board has continued to stay with the reduced ICSE syllabus owing to the pandemic situation. However, the Class 10 Board exams will be conducted in two semesters. Semester 1 in November/December and Semester 2 in April.

From 2022-23, the Council has decided to go back to its earlier norm of conducting the board exams annually, i.e, once at the end of the academic session. The Council has also revised the syllabus in select subjects.

ICSE 10th Time Table 2022

CISCE has released the ICSE 10th Time Table 2022 on March 3, 2022. Later on March 4, the board has revised previously announced time table. As per the revised date sheet, ICSE 10th exams are scheduled from April 25 to May 23. Earlier, the board has informed the media that ICSE 10th time table 2022 will be released after JEE Main 2022 notification. Board has released a detailed timetable for Semester 2 Exam 2022 on the official website. Students can click on the time table link below to check the detailed exam schedule. 

The council had released the ICSE 10th Semester 1 time table 2022 on September 8 on the official website. The examinations were scheduled between November 15 and December 6 in offline mode. The ICSE time table mentions the exam dates and timings for all subjects. Students can check the complete timetable by clicking on the link provided and plan their studies accordingly.

ICSE 10th Admit Card 2022

The Council releases the hall tickets for ICSE 2022 on the official website 15-20 days before the exams. Students appearing for the board exams must collect their ICSE admit cards from school and secure them till the announcement of the ICSE 10th result 2022. It is advised that they get 2-3 photocopies of the admit card. It is important to carry the ICSE hall ticket on exam days. No student will be allowed to sit for the exam without it. 

ICSE 10th Syllabus 2022

It is important to know the complete syllabus of different subjects before beginning with the preparation of the ICSE 10th examinations. This year, the syllabus has been divided into two parts. Term 1 exams cover 50 per cent of the syllabus while Term 2 exams cover the rest 50 per cent. The syllabus mentions all the chapters and topics to be covered for the exam. Students must try and cover the entire syllabus of ICSE 2022 to obtain good marks in the exam. After finishing the syllabus, the students must also keep time for revision. ICSE 10th Exam Pattern 2022

Students must go through the ICSE class 10 exam pattern. It makes one familiar with the marking scheme, duration of the exam, chapter-wise distribution of marks, types of questions asked in the exam, etc. One can plan on 'which questions to answer first and 'completing the paper timely' upon knowing the exam pattern of ICSE 10th. This year, the council has decided to conduct ICSE 10h board exams twice- Term 1 and 2. Term 1 will include only MCQs while term 2 exams will have both objective and subjective questions. The timings of the term 1 exams is 1-1.5 hours.

The Council has released the specimen question papers of the current and previous years' on its official website. It is important that students solve, practice and analyze the previous years' question papers as it gives an idea of the kind of questions asked in the exam, the difficulty level of the paper, etc. It is suggested that students solve the ICSE question papers within the stipulated time for better practice.

ICSE 10th Result 2022

CISCE will release the Semester 2 Result in July. The Council had announced the ICSE Term 1 Result 2021-22 on February 7, 2022, at 10 am on the official website. Students can check their ICSE class 10 result 2022 using their roll number here. The result and mark sheet mentions the marks scored in different subjects by the student.
