For B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) at Lovely Professional University, students usually get to pick a few minor courses beyond their main discipline, it really depends on what's available and on the university rules for that particular academic year. In some batches you might see options like Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Psychology, English, Entrepreneurship, Foreign Languages, Data Analytics, Graphic Design, or other sort of interdisciplinary subjects . The final set of choices can change from batch to batch, so it's not always the same every time.
About class timings, LPU mostly follows a flexible timetable system. Cl

A journalist usually needs strong communication, writing, research, and analytical skills. Many journalists complete a bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field, though practical experience is equally important. At LPU, journalism programs focus on industry oriented learning, digital media exposure, hands on training, and career focused development, helping students build the skills required for modern media and reporting roles.

Yes, Indian students can switch fields between UG and PG courses for example, if you have a BA in Economics, you can switch to MA Public Policy or Media at Harvard.
Given below are the guidelines for a successful switch -
- Mastery of foundational skills required for the programme (this switch from BA Economics to MA in Public Policy would require a strong Quant background and Economics)
- A well-defined SOP
- Coursework where relevant electives, projects and professional experience are shown
