NFSC is a good option, it has good infrastructure, facilities and their high placements.
Placements: NFSC is highly regarded for its placement opportunities. Students get good jobs in both government and private companies. There is a hundred percent placement rate. The highest package is 25 Lacs. Top recruiting companies include ONGC, GAIL, SAIL, IOCL, and BPCL. Students got internships at ONGC and Vedanta.
Infrastructure: NFSC has good infrastructure. There are air-conditioned rooms, a large library, well-functioning laboratories with Wi-Fi, and sports facilities that provide outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, and football. The quality of the mess is average, and there is a canteen and a medical room available.
Faculty: Teachers at NFSC are very supportive, qualified from high-level and reputed institutes, and knowledgeable. There are instructors for training in firefighting or drills. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and teachers teach according to the university guidelines.
Other: I chose this college because it is different from others. It has a unique branch – fire engineering – and offers excellent placement opportunities in uniform services. The best aspect of this college is the disciplined life.

If you want placement join here.
Placements: I am a trainee of the 32nd batch with B.Tech in Fire Engineering. In my previous batch, overall 95-100 percent placement happened, with the highest 24 LPA by GAIL, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are GAIL, Oil India, ONGC, etc. In the early stage, you get hired as a fire officer.
Infrastructure: There are 2 shared rooms allocated, cleaned daily, and cameras are installed near the rooms. The library is well-furnished in a clean environment. A variety of books related to fire and other subjects required for the course are provided. There are different kinds of sports faculty members available, and if required, they can also be increased.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, helping with research activities, and they also provide their industry experiences. Sessions are interactive. There are 2 terminal exams and 1 end-semester exam in one semester. The course curriculum is completely relevant, making students completely ready for industry issues.
Other: Right now, I am in the 32nd batch of B.Tech Fire Engineering. The college has 4 clubs, of which 2 provide industry experiences.

In brief, the college is very good.
Placements: If I talk about my batch, we are the second batch that is learning the syllabus of NEP (new education policy). The percentage of students placed is 95 to 100, with the highest package of 24 LPA, an average package of 12 to 13 LPA and a minimum of 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. There are minor issues which is common in all hostels, and the infrastructure of the academic and laboratory is the best, as it has all the equipment that is required to perform practicals. If I talk about the sports, there is a ground, in the morning, on which we perform a fire drill, and the other sports group is under development.
Faculty: If I talk about the teaching of the main academic material, we have guest faculty who teach us subjects other than fire. The fire subject is taught by the permanent faculty. This course is very easy to pass the semester, but it is not sufficient for learning purposes.
Other: If you like a disciplined life, then this college is for you.

NFSC Nagpur - A disciplined, practical fire engineering college with strong placements.
Placements: NFSC Nagpur is a specialised national-level college for fire and safety, with very strong placements (almost full batch placed, many in PSUs like ONGC, IOCL, GAIL, NTPC, airports and large industries) and average packages in roughly the low to mid double-digit LPA range. Students get good internships and industrial training in refineries, plants and airports, plus very practical on-campus training using live fire grounds, drills and specialised labs, all inside a disciplined residential campus that helps in fitness and personality development.
Infrastructure: For the B.Tech Fire Engineering course at NFSC Nagpur, there are air-conditioned digital classrooms, many well-equipped labs (electrical, fluid mechanics, fire protection, etc. ), a large library with Wi-Fi, and basic Wi-Fi/IT access on campus, while hostel Wi-Fi is limited or not always available. Mess food quality is usually rated average to good with veg and non-Veg options at a reasonable cost, and there is a canteen plus basic medical facilities and first aid on campus. Sports facilities include volleyball, badminton, cricket and indoor games like table tennis, which are decent but not at the level of a big sports university.
Faculty: Teachers in NFSC Nagpur are generally very helpful, strict but supportive, and well-qualified (many are alumni, UPSC, qualified officers, or PhD holders), so overall teaching quality is rated good to very good. The B.Tech Fire Engineering curriculum is specialised and industry-oriented, with strong practical and field training that makes students industry-ready for PSUs and private companies. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, if you attend classes and study regularly, they are manageable, and the reported overall pass percentage is roughly in the high 80% range.
Other: This course in fire engineering is chosen because it is unique in India, offers strong placements in PSUs/industry, and gives a clear, stable career path in safety and disaster management. The best parts are the practical training on live fire grounds, industry-oriented subjects, a disciplined environment, and good placement opportunities. Fests and cultural events are limited, but there are some sports/extracurricular activities, and the campus surroundings are peaceful.

I suggest taking admission in this college because it is a prestigious college in the field of fire.
Placements: Approximately, there is complete placement in my college. 60 students were placed in the last batch. The highest package was 24 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 LPA. The average package was 13 LPA. Many PSUs. Private and government companies hire engineers from this college.
Infrastructure: Many facilities like the library, ground, table tennis court, hostel, gym, and fire training ground are available on the campus. Mess and canteen are also available. But the quality of food is a little bad, and medical facilities are also available, such as an ambulance and a doctor.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and qualified from reputed institutions, and their teaching quality is also good. The course of fire is vast and helpful, it is also relevant. The semester exams are not very difficult if a student studies 5 to 6 hours a day, he/she can easily secure a 9 and above CGPA.
Other: I chose this college for the best placements, and another reason is that there is regular ground practice, which helps me to stay fit and healthy.

It is one of the most mysterious and value-for-money colleges.
Placements: Approximately all eligible students get placed. In 2024, the highest package offered was 24 LPA. The average package offered was 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IOCL, BPCL, Reliance, Adani, ONGC, CPCL, IGL, etc. Many PSUs came for recruitment. Fire and safety officer roles are offered. We can join the state fire service and will get privileges there.
Infrastructure: We will have access to the best infrastructure in India for our course. It offers average hostel facilities with 2 to 3 cadets per room. We get good food quality for students at reasonable prices. Additional canteens are also available. There are medical facilities and mental health counselling. We might have to compromise a bit with sports facility.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They support very much in the exam preparation, especially for first-year students. This course is specially designed for fire officers. Even in the service state, fire service officers come for training. University exams are of moderate levels.

Review of National Fire Service College.
Placements: Almost 100 percent of students get placed in Public Sector Units as well as Private Sectors and renowned companies. The highest package so far is 24 LPA, offered by GAIL. Mostly Oil and Petroleum companies come to recruit, but companies from other industries also recruit. Students can get internships in any company they want, according to their preference.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are 3/5, but if you are asking about fire-related equipment, it is 10/10. You will find almost every fire and safety-related equipment here. The quality of the mess is not good, and the condition of the hostels is also bad due to a lack of maintenance.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The main faculty members are alumni of this college, and others join after taking the UPSC exam. The teaching quality is also good. This course surely makes students industry-ready, as its curriculum covers all the necessary knowledge. Its implementation is carried out during the Morning Fire Ground Operation held daily, which also helps students become physically fit.
Other: I chose this course because of its uniqueness, good placements, and attractive packages after completion. Also, since it is a uniformed service, it helps students become disciplined. The hostel and mess conditions should be improved. Other things about the course are good.
