History
Holland College was founded in 1969. It is named after the British Army engineer and surveyor Captain Samuel Holland (highly-esteemed 18th century surveyor). At the starting of this university, 83 students were enrolled at this college. So, in 1960s, Holland College was one of the numerous community colleges to develop the skilled labour force.
