Students need to be clear about the courses and specializations that are offered in these intakes. In addition, students need to be clear about the admission rates, class profile, GMAT cut-offs, etc. for different intakes.
  • Admission Deadlines: Different MBA Colleges have different admission deadlines. It is important for the students to have prior information about the admission deadlines so that students plan their GMAT preparation and prepare their application documents well in time.
  • Application Documents: It is necessary for the students to know that a good GMAT score is not the only criterion for getting admission to a top MBA college. B-Schools also require other application documents that are equally important. These include an updated resume, a statement of purpose, 2-3 letters of recommendation, 1-3 admission essays, etc. It is necessary to prepare these documents well before the application deadlines to avoid any last-minute hassles.

In these 10-12 months, you need to prepare for the GMAT, prepare your application documents, arrange all the finances, and complete your paper work. Typically, it takes 3-6 months to prepare for the GMAT. You must also keep some buffer time just in case if you have to retake the GMAT exam.
