Part-time jobs in Germany: Candidates well versed in the study abroad industry would be aware that most countries provide candidates with an opportunity to work part-time during their entire duration of study/programme. Candidates entering Germany on a German Student Visa are allowed to work for a total of 120 full or 240 half days per year as part of their part-time work opportunity granted by the German Student Visa. The minimum wage in Germany is currently set at 9.50 euros per hour of work.
Post-study work permit in Germany: Depending on your duration of study in the post-graduation and under graduation degree of study, candidates are allowed to stay back for a limited period to find work that is similar to their area of study. On getting employment within the said time frame, candidates will get a chance to convert their post-study visa into a work visa and within two years of being on a work visa, they can apply for a permanent residence permit to permanently stay in Germany.
