My experience with Shiksha Study Abroad has been extremely positive, and I am truly grateful for the guidance and support provided by my counsellor Deepak Saraswat throughout my entire study abroad journey. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand my academic background and career goals and guided me . He supported me at every stage, including applications, documentation, follow-ups, and addressing all my doubts patiently. What I really appreciated was his professionalism, clarity, and constant availability whenever I needed help. The entire process felt well-structured and stress-free because of his timely guidance and attention to detail. Thanks to his dedicated support, I have successfully secured admission to Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. I am extremely thankful to Deepak and the Shiksha team for making this journey smooth and confident for me.

It took me a lot of time to come up with this because i didn’t know where to start with and all i can remember from reviewing back the last couple of weeks I’ve known this compassionate & productive powerhouse of a person is in a phrase that he casually once said: “Because I love my job” This was when I was having a mental breakdown after something I don’t even remember that went wrong while the process worked. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my Shiksha counselor, Deepak Saraswat, for his constant support throughout my admission journey. He has been incredibly patient and understanding, especially during the times when I called him outside of working hours in a state of panic. His calm reassurance and words always reminded me that I was in safe hands. A little background lore, I was at a wrong place mentally and professionally when I restarted my journey after deferring for my program at UNSW Sydney for having inadequate funding and visa documents. After months of trying to accumulate enough resources and documentation, I was asked to defer for the programme for still not having enough documents. Of course, it would’ve been way better and time efficient if my previous consultancy had been a little more focused on what resources I required in context to my then current reality than to push me for Australian visa requirements not because it was my first choice but because that counsellor dealt more effectively with that country. After deferring in the last few hours before the deadline, spending atleast 1.5 lacs INR in the processes, battling with the thought of failure and isolation, I felt lost. Then one evening, Mr. Saraswat just called me to pitch this idea. But I guess when one door closes another opens, atleast in this universe, because things that randomly come your way that make you think that maybe everything is not the worst after all and that makes all the necessary difference. Obviously, I thought he was joking because by that time (end of August) all of the colleges or scholarships i would’ve preferred would be gone anyways, more importantly, I wouldn’t ever be qualified for it because i didn’t even have years worth of ITRs, CA statements and god knows what. His reaction? He just laughed! Then he explained how easy all of this could’ve been. Honestly I felt cheated on. Spending so much time and still feeling defeated. Thats how important it is to be guided by the right people; people who are equally professional and empathetic. Deepak went above and beyond to guide me with clarity at every step, and his dedication truly reflects his passion for helping students. I deeply appreciate his professionalism, kindness, and commitment. I am not saying the process was exactly seamless, because I still had problems with my accommodation support from Amber, but this part was the best. Thanks Deepak, appreciate it.
