I am thrilled to announce that I have been admitted to University College Dublin for my undergraduate studies. My journey with Shiksha began almost a year ago when Ritu was assigned as my student advisor. At the time, I was uncertain about my final destination country and the specialization for my degree. However, through regular interactions and Ritu's valuable suggestions over the next few months, I was able to narrow down my preferred countries to Canada, the US, and Ireland, and finalize BSc Neuroscience as my specialization. This decision was made collaboratively with Ritu and my parents. Ritu provided me with detailed information on career prospects, the nature of work in the real world, and potential pathways. She offered different perspectives on each country, comparing them based on job prospects, quality of education, cost of living, fees, immigration, and other aspects. When it came to selecting a university, Ritu helped me remain realistic. The next challenge was meeting the entry criteria for the neuroscience program. As an IB student who took Math AI SL, I faced challenges since many universities required advanced mathematics, limiting my options. Ritu assisted me in clarifying alternatives with university representatives. Finalizing a university was a tedious process, considering I received offers from 10 different universities across Canada, the US, the UK, and Ireland. Nevertheless, Ritu made the entire journey pleasant. She was highly responsive, promptly replying to chats and addressing calls with a smile and great professionalism.
