Courses at Simon Fraser University

The Simon Fraser University application fee for  for international students is CAD 130 and CAD 82.60 for domestic students. The application process at SFU is a three steps process. In the first step, you complete/submit the application form. Then you pay a non-refundable CAD 130 application fee and finally, you upload all the required documents. Once you have completed all the application steps you are required to submit an application fees or your application will not be evaluated.

The tuition and expenses for one academic year are based on 2020-21. Tuition and fees (including public transit pass) are $31,460, Textbooks and supplies cost $2,350, a Single residence room with a meal plan cost $11,105, Medical insurance cost $850. This comes to a total amount of $45,765 for one session for an international student.

Requirements for Undergraduate courses

·      English Language Requirements - IELTS – Academic (6.5 with no less than 6.0)/ TOEFL iBT (88 or above with no less than 20 in each of the four components)/ PTE Academic (65 with no less than 60 in each components)/ Duolingo (125 or above)

·      Quantitative and Analytical Skills Requirements – Must score a minimum of 50% in Standard XII level Math for admission

·      General Admission Requirements – Submit your academic transcript which includes interim standard XII level marks

·      Additional requirements as per the subject

Requirements for Graduate courses

·      English Language Requirements - IELTS – Academic (6.5 with no less than 6.0)/ TOEFL iBT (88 or above with no less than 20 in each of the four components)/ PTE Academic (65 with no less than 60 in each components)/ Duolingo (125 or above)

·      Quantitative and Analytical Skills Requirements – Must score a 60% or C in an approved grade 11 or grade 12 math course

·      General Admission Requirements – Must complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses
