International applicants who wish to study at Vancouver University Canada must meet the admission requirements as per the program. We have mentioned below Vancouver Island University requirements for international students:

VIU Requirements for Undergraduate Admissions

• Complete high school with grade 9 or equivalent;
• Be under 19 years of age; and
• Proof of meeting English language requirements.

VIU Requirements for Graduate Admissions

• Minimum “B” average in the final 2 years of a Bachelor’s degree;
• Meet one of the following VIU English language requirements;
• No GRE / GMAT score is required; and
• Work Experience required (as per the program).

Prospective international students of Vancouver Island University can apply to the university through the Application Portal available on the university's website. While applying to VIU, applicants must submit the following documents:

• Official academic transcripts
• Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE);
• A copy of your passport (photo page);
• Copy of High School Graduation Diploma (if available); and
• Copy of University Degree (If available).

Note:

Admissions in a few Vancouver Island University programs may require additional documents. Hence, students are advised to keep a check on the official website for course-specific requirements.

All documents must be translated by a certified translator or notarized if they are in a language other than English.

Once a candidate has applied to Vancouver Island University through the Application Portal available on the university's website and fulfilled all the admission requirements ie; academic qualifications, English language proficiency requirements as well as supporting documents, VIU acknowledges the candidate's application within two-eight weeks of receiving the same and notifies them in case of any next steps required to complete their application.

When a decision is taken, students are notified about their admission status through an official email sent by the university. At Vancouver Island University, applicants are considered for admission only when all required information and documentation has been received.
