Nordic life and medical engineering.
Tips: Well, students coming from Asian countries should be prepared for a more introverted kind of life, especially if they are coming on their own. Be prepared for a huge cultural difference and be able to adapt to European foods. I got a 50 percent scholarship, which covers half of my tuition fee. I got it while applying for a seat in the university. I am satisfied with the university and the country, but the language is a huge barrier. If we learn Finnish, it will open a lot more doors.
Likes (Safety): Student emergency services are always there to ensure student safety even outside of the campus. There are student support stands all over the city centre that assist in case anyone needs it, and the police here also take student safety seriously.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Oulu is in northern Finland, like pretty close to the Arctic Circle, and the Indian community here is very small compared to other European cities, so it has only one Indian restaurant. The ingredients that are used in Indian cooking is also very hard to find here, if you don't bring your own spices from India.
