MBBS - Batch of 2020
4.4
It is a great college for studies.
Tips: I am having fun and I think I have become more mature after the cultural difference. I did not avail any scholarships. My parents are sponsoring me. Good meals are served inside the campus and faculty members can be strict sometimes, though.
Likes (Internships): The teachers are friendly and everything is taught in a very nice way. The internships are relevant to my field of study. The guidance is available in terms of finding an internship, as there are consultancies outside the college that will help you in every step.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): You can get a lot of job offers. They are quite hard to get, but if you've paced your studies, you will have no problem securing a post study job. I had great seniors who mentored me while I was looking for post study jobs. The employers are friendly and offer me free meals too.

Life in BPKIHS is fun and lively. Teachers are highly qualified and polite.
Tips: Nepal and India have a very similar cultural root back years ago. I didnt feel much cultural shift while coming from India, there is no such racism as such for Indians. There is no scholarship available for indian students as of now, but it used to be present a few years ago.
Likes (Safety): Dharan is a very safe place all in all, 24/7 security is present throughout the campus. Also a hotline number is present which you can call anytime in case of an emergency. The hostels are present inside the campus, so there is no case of violence or safety concerns.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty members are highly qualified, having done their MBBS from both India and Nepal. I never faced any sort of racism, they are very polite and teach everything in depth. The best thing about BPKIHS is the system wise study and PBL study which helps to tackle real world cases.

This college shapes not just your career but your personality.
Tips: Placements here are stellar. The training cell organises workshops, mock interviews and connects us with top companies. Most of my batchmates secured offers by their final year with roles in teaching, finance and consulting. The average package is impressive and alumni support is always there.
Likes (Internships): The campus is a blend of modern and green spaces. A huge library with the latest digital resources and Wi-Fi everywhere. Hostels are clean and vibrant with great food options. I loved changing out at the sports complex and amphitheatre with my friends where memories are made.
Dislikes (Safety): From day one the faculty's dedication stood out. Professors help clarifying doubts after class or helping with projects. Their practical teaching style makes even complex topics easy to grasp.
