  • Students must pay at least 50% of the tuition fee by 10 August 2026 to be eligible for the scholarship.
  • 50% means 50% of the full tuition fee, not 50% of the fee after deducting other scholarships.
  • Scholarship amount will depend upon the Band of the course in which the student is studying.
  • Band 1 students will get £2,000, and Band 2 students will get £3,000 and International Foundation Diploma students will get £1,000.

Eligibility

  • Students must have received and accepted an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate, postgraduate or International Foundation Diploma programme at University College Birmingham.
  • Students must have overseas fee status and be paying overseas tuition fees. Home fee payers are not eligible.
  • To be eligible for each component of the scholarship, payment must reach UCB accounts by the corresponding deadline, unless the student has proof that they initiated the payment more than two weeks prior to the deadline.
  • This scholarship is available to students in their first year of study only.
