Jacques Gaudreau Graduate Scholarship in International Human Rights Law is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Master of Laws (LLM) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award will be awarded to Single candidate. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 1000 and offered on a yearly basis As part of the Jacques Gaudreau Graduate Scholarship in International Human Rights Law selection process, applicants would be required to submit the following documents: CV.

Eligibility

• The applicant must: 
  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student;
  • be registered in a Masters or PhD program at the Faculty of Law; 
  • specialize in international human rights law;
  • demonstrate academic excellence; and 
  • submit a research proposal (2-5 pages) in the field of human rights.
