Eligibility

  • In order to be eligible to receive the South Asia Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:

    • Students must be a national of (or have permanent residence in) one of the following countries at the time of applying to the University in order to be eligible to receive the scholarship: India, Nepal and Sri Lanka

  • A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
    • Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
    • Completed a Pre-Master's degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master's degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

  • A £3,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:
    • Completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution, and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
    • Completed a Pre-Master's degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master's degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
  • N.B. For students who are a national of (or have permanent residence in) Pakistan, and have completed a 2 year Bachelor's degree followed by a 2-3 year Master's degree, this scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the combined average grade across both qualifications.
