Tips: I am pretty adaptable, I think the only issue is the language, which, if you know or learn at least a basic conversational level, is better. There is an Indian community in Daegu, but the international club do organise some important overseas cultural events.
Likes (Student Life): It's peaceful, and u do your own thing. The professors support your decisions and give you suggestions on how to improve your own idea and even suggest other ideas, however, you are free to choose. The events range from fairs to cultural events to academic debates, etc.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Being a vegetarian in Korea is difficult. Thus, the 2 Indian restaurants do run a higher-than-average price cuz of the scarcity of Indian ingredients. (You can get them in Seoul and Busan, but Ulsan has yet to have an influx of Indian students. ) If you are a vegetarian, I recommend cooking the dishes yourself.
