MBA in International Business - Batch of 2025
4.6
An excellent International MBA Experience with practical learning and global exposure
Tips: The biggest thing to know before coming here is that the focus is heavily on real-world application, not just reading out of textbooks. If you want to actually get your money's worth and land a decent job afterward, you can’t just sit in the back of the class—you have to get out there, start networking like crazy, and hunt down internships from day one. Also, get ready to live and breathe teamwork. Your entire grade is basically going to depend on survival by group projects, heavy research, pitching presentations together, and breaking down actual business case studies.
Likes (Student Life): Gave it a 5 because the MBA experience was a wild ride from start to finish. Honestly, your schedule becomes completely packed the second you start—just constant lectures, arguing over group assignments, and prepping presentations with people from every corner of the world. What I loved was that the uni keeps you moving. They’re always setting up random industry mixers, workshops, and cultural nights right in the middle of the Dubai business hub. You're basically forced to build a network while managing a massive workload, so campus life never feels dull or slow.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave it a 3 because even though the education and career exposure out here are top-notch, trying to actually settle down permanently is a massive headache. Staying long-term completely relies on you grinding to lock down a solid corporate job that will sponsor your visa, and the immigration rules don't exactly make it easy for foreigners. I would consider settling here if there were a clearer pathway to permanent residency.
