They have 2,300+ on-campus rooms for everyone. all incoming full-time undergraduate students who register by October 1 will be Guaranteed a single-person room in the university-owned, managed, or directed housing.

They have these facilities for UG & PG international applicants. Once you have been informed of your application through the University they will send you an email inviting you to register for an account. Once this has been validated, you will receive a confirmation email and be able to view and apply for your accommodation

Once you’ve decided to secure your reservation, you will be requested to accept a residential contract.

Also on-campus housing is for single person only. There is no on-campus provision for families, spouse and the University does not offer childcare.

Q:   Does University of Hull need IELTS?
A: 

 If English is not your first language, then you will need to show proof of your English language ability or if you need a student visa to study at university of Hull. This should be an accepted English language test by the organization.

Undergraduate courses

You must have an overall IELTS score of 6.0 obtained within two years of the start date of the majority of the undergraduate programmes. Additionally, you must score at least 5.5 in each of the following skill areas:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Listening

Please check the English requirement needed before enrolling in any undergraduate courses as some of them have higher minimum scores that may be found on the individual course listing sites of university. 

Postgraduate courses

For all the PGCert, PGDip and MSc in HEALTH PROFESSIONS EDUCATION

  • IELTS: 6.5, with no less than 6.0 in each component
  • PTE Academic: 61, with no less than 55 in each component
  • CAE and CPE: 176, with no less than 169 in each component
  • TOEFL: 87, with a minimum of 21 in each component
  • Trinity ISE: level 3 with Merit in all components

Q:   Does Hull have January intake?
A: 

Most of the taught postgraduate degrees begin in September. However, several of the programmes provided by the Faculty of Health Sciences are among the courses that also start in January and May. For further information, please see the course pages.

Q:   Is it tough to get into the University of Hull?
A: 

With the University of Hull acceptance rate of 80%, it is a lightly selective institution as it accepts approximately 80 out of every 100 applicants on an average. Once a candidate fulfills all the Univesity of Hull admission requirements, inclusive of academic as well as document requirements, they are most likely to get accepted in the university. However, students must not take this lightly. Candidates must be aware of the application deadlines and apply to the university correctly, along with submitting all the relevant requirements.
