A: 

Columbus College of Art and Design was established in 1879. It is one of the oldest private art and design colleges in the United States. The college is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Higher Learning Commission. CCAD have a great diverse student community with 32% of students being International.With a focus on entrepreneurship and the arts, including fashion design, animation, illustration, and photography, it offers a broad range of degree options.  Some of the notable alumni of CCAD are American visual artist, writer, and instructor Alex Grey who is well-known for his psychedelic and spiritual artwork, which includes his series of twenty-one paintings called Sacred Mirrors and American storyboard artist, director, and voice actor Brian Fee who is employed at Pixar.

Q:   What are the English proficiency exams accepted by Columbus College of Art and Design?
A: 

In order to prove their English competence, undergraduate applicants from nations where English is not the only official language must submit results directly from any of the following testing organizations: 

  • TOEFL iBT minimum score: 61 (TOEFL code for CCAD: 1085)

  • IELTS total band score requirement: 6.0

  • PTE Academic minimum score: 45

  • ELS: completion of level 109

  • Duolingo minimum score: 90

A: 

Columbus College of Art and Design charges a $50 (INR 4,197) non-refundable application fee. Applicants need to apply on the CCAD application portal or through the Common App. In case applicants are in need of fee waivers they can contact the admission office for waiver information.
