Earlham college ranked #322 in the top colleges list and #286 in America's Best Value Colleges in 2019 forbes rankings. In U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges” guidebook for 2025, Earlham is ranked as one of the Top 75 national liberal arts colleges. The popular courses at Earlham college are Bachelor in International studies, Economics, Biology, Physics and Neuroscience. The Guggenheim Fellowship, the Golden Globe Award, the Rhodes and Knight-Hennessy scholarships, and the Pulitzer Prize have all been given to Earlham graduates. Some of the notable alumni of Earlham College are Marjorie Hill Allee – author,  Ione Virginia Hill Cowles – president,  General Federation of Women's Clubs and David W. Degrees from accredited institutions like Earlham College are generally recognised worldwide, enhancing the value of the education received. Approximately 15% of Earlham's student body is foreign, representing more than 45 nations. 

Q:   Is it hard to get into Earlham College?
A: 

Getting into Earlham College is considered moderately competitive. The acceptance rate of the college is 74%. Earlham College is a test optional college so SAT ACT scores are not mandatory to submit. However, half the applicants admitted to Earlham College who submitted test scores have an SAT score between 1178 and 1363 or an ACT score of 23 and 30. A GPA 3.61 is considered safe for admission. Students need to have Official Secondary School Records and Exam Results and international students require English proficiency test scores. Applicants have to submit letter of recommendation from counselor or teachers.

The application process at Earlham College include three steps:

Applicants have to apply via Common App. 

Gather all the documents that need to be submitted. 

  • Official Secondary School Records and Exam Results.
  • Letter of recommendation.
  • English proficiency test scores (for international students).
  • International Student Financial Information.

Submit all these document and complete the application. 

If any of the documents is mising students can contact the international admissions counselor. 

 Admittance decision is made within two weeks after receipt of your completed application.
