Q:   How can I get into Seattle University's MBA program?

In order to get into Seattle University MBA programs, students must apply to the university through their website, within the application deadlines listed below:

  • Priority Application: Aug 8, 2025 (priority review)
  • Final deadline Sep 8, 2025

While applying to Seattle MBA, all international students are required to fulfill certain entry requirements in order to secure a spot in the university. These requirements consist of:

  • Completed application form and USD 55 fee;
  • Resume;
  • Essay/Personal statement (in 500 words or less), outlining:
    • Why the candidate wishes to join the Early Career MBA programme at Seattle University;
    • How they expect the programme to aid them in their professional development;
    • How they believe an MBA will help them with their post-graduation career plans; and
    • Anything else that they would like the Graduate Admissions team to know about them.
  • Professional and/or Academic Letter (s) of Recommendation;
  • Official Transcripts from undergraduate and any post-baccalaureate work;
  • Official GMAT or GRE test scores sent from testing agency;
  • Official English language proficiency test scores; and
  • Interview with an Albers adviser (Selected candidates will be invited to be interviewed).

Note: At Seattle, each applicant is viewed holistically. Seattle admissions committee assesses each application individually, looking for students who have the desire, motivation, prior academic success and maturity to be successful in the program. Hence, students must be academically sound as well as good outside school in order to get enrolled in Seattle University MBA program.

Based on the data collected from US News & World Report, Seattle University admissions has an acceptance rate of 85% and an early acceptance rate of 90.7%. This data tells us that 85 out of every 100 applicants manage to secure an admission during regular decision. Whereas, about 90-91 students get enrolled in the same when applied through early decision applications. If an applicants fulfill the Seattle University admission requirements, they are most likely to secure a spot in the university.
