Q:   What are the requirements to get admission at University of San Diego?

International students must fulfill the basic eligibility and submit the required documents to the university. The University of San Diego requirements for international students are given below:

Undergraduate Requirements:

  • Official high school transcripts
  • Essay
  • Academic letter of recommendation
  • Application fee of USD 55
  • English language requirements (IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL: 80; Duolingo:115)

Graduate Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a professional field (STEM) from a regionally accredited institution
  • Bachelor's GPA of 3 or higher
  • Statement of purpose (from students with a GPA between 2.5 and 3)
  • GRE/GMAT score (from students with a GPA between 2 and 2.5)

Q:   Is SAT score required for admission at University of San Diego?
A: 

International undergrad students can apply to the University of San Diego through the Common App and submit required materials such as transcripts. However, USD test free policy does not make it mandatory to submit the SAT/ACT score. Applicants can still apply without the SAT. However, international students are required submit English language test proficiency score through IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo.
