The housing selection process at Xavier University occurs entirely online. For first-year students, the dates are uploaded on Road to Xavier (University's website for admitted students). Some of the items that international students must bring after getting admitted to Xavier University are comfortable clothing and footwear, academic supplies like laptop or tablet, notebooks and binders, desk organizers, etc., personal items, cooking and cleaning items.

Xavier University lets all its prospective students apply either through Xavier Applications or the Common Application and mostly accepts admissions on a rolling basis. While applying, students must fulfill the following Xavier University's document requirements:

• Official academic transcripts from high school or bachelor's degree;
• Two completed recommendation forms from instructor or employer;
• Resume/CV;
• Statement of intent;
• Official English proficiency exam results (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/GRE scores test scores (GRE scores href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/act">ACT);
• GMAT/GRE scores (if applicable); and
• Copy of information page on passport.

Since the application accepted are rolling, the decision are also out on a rolling basis. However, once a candidate has submitted their complete application along with relevant documents and test score required, it takes Xavier a time span of four weeks to take a decision and send admission offers.
