Small city with great transportation system.
Tips: Research the course and prospectus before joining.
Get accommodation near the university.
Learn Swedish to ensure that job markets open easily.
Engage with international students from your peers to ensure maximum benefit during your studies.
Take up internships as much as possible and network.
Likes (Public transportation): Small city is well connected by bus.
Accommodations are available near the university.
Travel to nearby cities is easy with the train or intercity bus.
Airport is present but most students prefer bus or rail to commute to and from Jonkoping
Taxi services are quite expensive for students.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It was quite challenging to get a job with a stay back of 6 months.
Most organisations will offer a job provided you have a minimum of 1 year stay back, this rule could have changed now however during my time 6 months is the extension received and with that, it was difficult to land a job
