History
The University began in 1828 with the start of the School of Medicine. In 1905, it was granted its Royal Charter. Then, in the 1990s, the new premises for the School of Clinical Dentistry, the Division of Education, the Management School, St. George’s Library and St. George’s Flats and Lecture Theatre were opened.
