Green River College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). The college has an open admission policy which makes it easily accessible for Indian students. GRC also offers an Intensive English Program (IEP) that helps prepare international students who don't qualify for the English proficiency test scores. Through the college's globally acclaimed "2+2" transfer program, students can finish their first two years at Green River before transferring to prestigious universities around the United States. GRC degrees and certificates are widely accepted abroad, especially in the United States and Canada. The estimated cost of food, housing, transportation and personal expenses is $22,056.

Finding on-campus part-time jobs while studying at Green River College is manageable. Students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week. Departments that hire at the college are the Tutoring and Resource Center, International Programs, Technology Center, Paper Tree bookstore, Recreation & Athletic Center, and Campus Corner Apartments. Students can go to the departments individually and check for jobs and Green River College publishes job vacancies on the Handshake online platform. 

Students are not allowed to work off-campus unless they have been authorized to do so. International students can do off-campus jobs only after completing one academic year in the college and in order to be eligible for off-campus employment students must apply for and have written authorization from USCIS before beginning any type of off-campus work.
