Some of the positive reviews mentioned that Trinity is a welcoming college and the professors are very involved in their student's lives and are available outside of class to help students. Some students say that Trinity Christian College provides both academic as well as spiritual support. The college campus itself is warm and inviting.

Some of the negative reviews students mentioned is that the communication between the departments is not good and it's often an issue with the financial aid department's very small and the weekends are dead. Some students felt out of place as minorities on the predominantly white campus. There are also concerns about favoritism and lack of disciplinary action by the administration in certain cases.

Getting part-time jobs while studying at Trinity Christian College is generally considered manageable. The college provides on-campus employment to its students. Students can work on campus for 20 hours or less per week when the school is in session and during official school breaks it can be extended up to 30 hours per week. To be eligible for on campus employment students have to obtain a Social Security card from the US Social Security Administration by providing all the required documents.

Apart from this students can also opt for off-campus jobs like lawn care, babysitting, restaurant staff, retail, volunteering at local churches etc. Minimum wages in Illinois are $13 per hour and with these part-time jobs, students can easily earn $15 to $20 per hour.
