My review about this college.

Placements: Recruiting companies are Robert Bosch, Infosys, Vistaar, TCS, L&T Infotech, E&Y, Accenture, etc. The average stipend offered is around Rs. 10,000. Placements are 100%. The best part is job opportunities are great in the IT industry as well as some other companies in other domains as well. Students with good grades and consistent educational backgrounds gain more attraction. The average package is 6 LPA-7 LPA and the highest package offered is above 50 LPA. The key recruiters are TCS, HDFC, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Industries, Virtusa, and many more. Even Microsoft visits the campus.

Infrastructure: SIMS hostel is decent and in good hygienic condition offering basic amenities such as comfortable beds, spacious rooms, cupboards, study tables, various sports facilities and courts, canteen, and coffee shop. The canteen/ mess food is quite decent better than what I have heard in many famous colleges. The food is made keeping in mind students' health and hygiene. Since the MBA program is two years. In the first year, we study all the common subjects which are the same across all the specializations such as finance, HR, and operations. And in the second year, we study specialized subjects.

Faculty: The faculty standards are very high. We have ex HR-director of HCL Technologies (IIM C alumni) teaching us HR subjects like OB and HRM. We have a retired ING Group Country Head as our placement coordinator who teaches subjects of finance and business environment. The director is an IIM-A alumni and the deputy director is an IIM-B alumni. We have three IIM-A visiting faculty members, one ERP veteran teaching ERP subjects, Ph.D. from ISB teaching. SIMS is a part of Symbiosis International University and the exam pattern is followed same across the university. We have 4 semesters and main exams as well as internal exams.

It is the best college for MBA students.

Placements: 100% students were placed. FMCG, BFSI, and some manufacturing companies visited our college campus per year. The highest package offered was 34.26 LPA. The average package offered was 20.14 LPA. The normal package offered was 14.37 LPA, and all students were selected for the job.

Infrastructure: SIBM Bengaluru is a hill paradise. The campus is really a paradise, surrounded by greenery, and it feels like natural beauty. Many Bollywood movies are shot at SIBM Bengaluru. The hostel is also nice. There are double, triple, and quadruple sharing rooms with attached washrooms.

Faculty: Symbiosis Institute teachers are really helpful and guide us in every step of our journey. Since the teachers themselves come from an industrial background, they give us great examples from the industry as well. The course curriculum is really good.

SIBM Bangalore: Fantastic Review.

Placements: Many students who have successfully completed the course have received good placements. The edge this course gives to students is highly relevant in the market. Companies like Infosys, Uber, etc., are offering fantastic offers to the students. Roles offered are in the field of finance.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fantastic. The teaching with advanced equipment and technology is very good. All necessary equipment is available for the practical learning of students. Libraries and classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Proper facilities are available.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive, and the syllabus is also very relevant. The experience, knowledge, and professionalism of faculty members are impressive. The teaching methods of faculty members are superb. They help and support every student who needs help.

Other: The crowd is very good on campus. The relevance of this course in the market is very high.

Our college needs improvement in teaching skills.

Placements: The top roles offered were in investment banking, IT product management, consulting, and credit risk analysis. Major companies were from IT, banking space, and mutual fund industry like SBI MF and HDFC MF. Top major auto companies like Tata Motors and Maruti also came for finance roles.

Infrastructure: Food quality was okay, and sports facilities were there with multiple options. Many students come at the same time for tennis for which the space was limited. If coordinated well everyone can enjoy some sports, else there will be a lot of chaos.

Faculty: Teachers were not knowledgeable enough as compared to a similar level of IIM. Few teachers were keen to make students understand the project with real-life case studies and assignments. While most of the teachers didn't bother if students are listening to them or not.

Other: Extracurricular activities are held in our college.

There are good placements because of the location.

Placements: There are 100% placements in SIBM Bangalore. The highest salary package offered is around 25 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top MNCs like JP Morgan, Deloitte, Amazon, etc., visit our campus for placements. Students can choose a course in which they are interested according to their preference like marketing, operations, finance and HR.

Infrastructure: There is a free Wi-Fi facility on our campus, along with very good infrastructure. There are also Bloomberg labs, and only some of the colleges are able to provide these opportunities. Hostel and mess facilities are also great. Proper medical care is also provided to students on the campus only.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified, cooperative and helpful on our campus. They are always ready to clear any doubt. A lot of case studies have been provided to improve the knowledge and thinking ability of students in the corporate sector. Apart from this, on the campus, students get real-life experience of the corporate sector.

Other: There is a batch of around 240 students. SIBM surely has a location advantage, which provides an extra edge in terms of placements to students. Apart from academics, a lot of events are also held from time to time to make students active.
