MSc in Computer Science - Batch of 2022
Offered by Bishop's University
4.3
An average university for studies but excellent for fun.
Tips: Studying won't be that hard, you only need to spend some time on your studies. If you choose four courses starting from the fall semester then you can complete your masters in 16 months. If you join Bishop's in the fall semester then you can't take spring break whereas when you join in the winter semester then you can take the summer break but can only opt for the Master's project next year.
Likes (Safety): Rarely any crime here. I haven't noticed any crime since I started living here. In case you are in some danger, you can call 911 and help will be there in no time. Of course, one needs to be smart enough to judge where one can go and at what time. I'm going for night shifts for part-time.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): Some professors are really good and help you in every possible way a professor can help a student but some professors are not that great, their course material hardly makes a difference, and you have to study most of the topics from the scratch. So do not depend on just professors.

Bishop's University
Highlights

  • The Department of Economics offers Honours, Major and Minor programs in economics.
  • The Honours programs are the most intensive and provide the greatest exposure to the discipline.
  • The Major programs are less specialized and allow the student to take a wider range of complementary courses or even to add a major or a minor in another discipline.
  • Economics is concerned with the fundamental principle upon which human activity revolves - our wants are unlimited while the resources available for their satisfaction are not.
  • Any economic system must determine what is to be produced from these limited resources, and how the resulting output is to be distributed amongst its population.
  • The human organization and economic machinery necessary for the resolution of this problem is a very complex matter, especially in a highly decentralized decision-making society such as our own private enterprise economy.
