Applicants must have a good chance of being admitted to the MBA-programme if they have the following:
- An undergraduate degree in business and management or similar subject from a university or university of applied sciences (180 ECTS credits), or
- An undergraduate degree in another discipline with interest in business and/or entrepreneurship
- Students can apply also without an undergraduate degree if they can demonstrate managerial experience
Not all undergraduate degree certificates have an overall grade or classification. Normally, a level equivalent to the British first or second class would be required (medium-level grade in Finland).

- HELBUS offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) -degree programme, where the degree is awarded by the University of Northampton (UoN), UK. This means that while studying in Finland, students are enrolled as UoN students and the programme follows closely the specification and policies of UoN. It is fully compliant with UK quality assurance regulations. This British MBA is an official postgraduate (Master’s) degree regulated by the UK educational authority, QAA.
- The programme is offered in two modes: a full-time and a part-time mode. Both modes consist of online studies that can be taken from anywhere in the world and then 1-3 day intensive modules that are held in Helsinki. The attendance to the intensive modules is highly recommended but not absolutely mandatory. The full-time mode takes 12 months to complete
