CBS university Germany Admissions 2025: Application Deadline, Requirements & Costs

The course-wise CBS International Business School admission requirements are given below:

Bachelor Programs

• To pursue any undergraduate courses at CBS International Business School, the admission requirement is a secondary school completion and university qualification or full-entrance qualification to an Applied Sciences University. Accordingly, equivalent qualifications from schools abroad are recognised  

Master Programs

• To pursue master’s programs at Cologne Business School, the applicants are required to have a first academic qualification with a minimum of 180 ECTS Credits of a recognised university with a final minimum grade of ‘good’
• The applicants who have not attained the grade mentioned above in their first study course should take a separate examination
• The degree should be business-related

As per the tuition fees data for 2023, Cologne Business School MA in International Business is 7,920€ for a full-time master’s program. This is a semester tuition fees. So, for one year, the tuition fee will be around INR 14 lakh. The duration of Cologne Business School IB MA course is 2 years.  

For admission to IB MBA of Cologne Business School, meet the below-given entry requirements:

• The applicants are required to have a first academic degree in Business Economics, such as a Bachelor of Business Administration
• Since the degree programme is completely in English, Advanced English skills are a must

Cologne Business School English language requirements are given as follows:

The tests given above must not be older than two years. Alternatively, the applicants can furnish proof by taking the CBS language test within an interview (via Skype) with Cologne Business School English department. Also, students can substitute the required language test if they provide evidence of a six-month stay abroad in an English-speaking country or if they prove parts of studies in English (examination of individual case).

If the scholarship requirements are met, students who have successfully completed the application are going to receive a scholarship of up to 25% on tuition fees. This scholarship is offered to those students who are about their first semester of Bachelor’s, Master’s and MBA programs at Cologne Business School. To apply for the CBS scholarship, fill out the CBS scholarship application form and submit these documents along with it: A tabular CV, a motivation letter explaining why CBS should sponsor, an officially certified copy of student’s last certificate, and proof of social commitment (For the Social Engagement Scholarship).

Cologne Business School MBA admission requirements are given below:

• The applicants are required to have a first academic qualification (Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts) with a minimum of 180 ECTS-Credits of a recognised university with a final minimum grade of ‘good’
• Those applicants who have not obtained the above-mentioned grade in their first study course must take a separate entrance examination
• Furthermore, the applicants require initial job experience of at least one year
• TOEFL iBT score of 92 / IELTS with at least 6.5

Cologne Business School admission requirements for the MA in International Business course are given below:

• The applicants must have successfully completed the first degree in Business Administration (Example: Bachelor’s degree at CBS)
• Furthermore, the applicants are required to be completely fluent in English
• Course contents of MA in International Business are based on the knowledge acquired in the previous studies
• English language proficiency score: TOEFL iBT score of 92 / IELTS with at least 6.5 score
