Akshay shares his experience of selecting universities abroad for higher education: Shiksha Success Stories

Studyabroad.shiksha.com got in touch with one of its students – Akshay, who got admission to Cleveland State University in the USA in his choice of course masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Q. Tell us your name, which city you are based in, and what are you currently doing?

Akshay: Hello, I am Akshay and currently, I am doing Masters's in Mechanical Engineering at Cleveland State University in the USA.

Q. Which course and country did you choose and why?

Akshay: Let me tell you my story. I was working as a Production Engineer in India and during that job, I felt like to excel in my career. I need to do some master's projects so I decided to do masters in the USA.

Q. Once you were sure of going abroad to study, how did you research the application process?

Akshay: I did a lot of research and got quite confused because for every university there is a little bit different application process that you need to go through.

Q. How was your experience with the Shiksha counselling team? How did you discover us?

Akshay: I signed up at shiksha.com and they assigned me a counsellor named Anusua Chatterjee and she helped a lot. Right from finalizing universities according to my needs and applying, organizing each and every document, and all the way to the visa interview process.
