About Capilano University
Capilano University offers approximately over 12,700 students every year with an enrollment of over 2,500 international students. History
Capilano University was founded in 1968 and was named after Chief Joe Capilano and began with just over 700 students. Later, Capilano University established its permanent campus in North Vancouver in 1973 and four years later opened the Sunshine CoastCampus in Sechelt, in 2020 CapU Lonsdale opened, and the CapU Squamish is set to open in Fall 2024. Capilano University aims to transform the lives of the learners, employees, and communities along with offering experiences, and engagement opportunities to actualize their passion and potential.

University residence starts at just $1,190 per month including all your meals, and your residence fees include a fully furnished room with a bed, storage, desk, chair and closet and many more things.
