Q:   Is Seneca College better than Centennial?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

According to students' reviews, both Seneca and Centennial are typical community colleges in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Centennial offers some excellent IT and Engineering majors. Both universities are essentially the same if students are seeking courses in Management or the Arts. Seneca is situated in the North York area, which is currently one of the city's the fastest-growing neighborhoods. Students must choose Seneca if they want to take Management courses. There is a greater probability of successful networking.

Students who are searching for technology classes must go to Centennial. In summary, it's difficult to determine which is superior because each has advantages and disadvantages.

Friendly and stress-free learning environment.
Tips: Before joining Centennial College, you should know about your interests first, and then take the course according to those. Never jump into any course without knowing the content. You should also socialise with your classmates. Network with people you encounter there. The best way to do this is to be friendly with everyone you meet. Also, be sure to participate in any college-run technical events.

The university has a vibrant and diverse campus.
Tips: Centennial College is a nice college. The professors are very supportive and try to make learning as easy as possible. I’ve learned more at this college than at any other school. I like Centennial College a lot, there’s a lot of diversity here. People from different countries and nationalities try to make connections and there are many cultural events hosted by student bodies so that people feel welcomed. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.

Student-friendly college with ample learning and internship opportunities.
Tips: Join this college only if you are serious about your career and academics. Attendance is considered to be very serious here so do make sure to attend the classes and do all your submission on time. Also, do not prioritize part-time job over your studies as it can hamper your study time.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): PR opportunities are very high in Canada as they offer 2 years of stay back after completion of year certification. Many corporates and companies willingly offer visa assistance after securing a job which makes it easier to settle and look at PR.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Depending on your area of specialisation and study numerous post-study options would be available. A lot of competition prevails as Centennial College is a popular study option for International students from India and other South-East Asian countries.

My insightful college experience.
Tips: Well, my college is very particular in respect of semester exams and assignment as well. As an Asian citizen, you will surely feel a little cultural shift even though I myself had transitioned a little in the context of academic vibe and surroundings as well. There is a scholarship offered to foreign students here but again it's quite tough. I just completed my education in April 2023 and I am quite satisfied.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Well, the faculty members of my college are very accessible and approachable. They are so helpful and kind. Their teaching methodology is very modern and easy to access. There are so many teachers over here who are always there, and we surely can count on them in case of doubt or query.

The college is good but very far from downtown.
Tips: Know about your course before joining and know about your campus and your professors. Placement scenario that is happening after your course gets over is important to know. There is not a big culture shift after moving here. There are opportunities for scholarships but very less students are aware of them. The college is nice but it is very far from downtown and the travel time is something which you will have to bear.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is good and can try to include more case studies in the course. The ppts shared by the prof are okay. Over the course, cont is nice but can be improved and can have more practical knowledge with regards to the industry. Practical knowledge with regard to the industry is lacking.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food options are okay. College can have more fast food outlets. Only some can't serve all purposes. College can try to include more vegetarian options and fast food joints. Pricing for the Ccsai cafeteria can be improved as well.
