Great support and learning.
Tips: Before joining Mohawk College students should know that the learning environment is supportive with professors who genuinely care about their growth. Transition as an international student brought some cultural changes but the welcoming community made it easy.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated 5 because public transport in Hamilton is well connected and reliable. The campus has easy access to buses that link to the city areas and even go to nearby cities. The service is frequent, affordable with student passes and convenient for daily computing.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I rated 4 because while there are good food options from my home country around the college, they are a bit limited compared to downtown. You can find Indian, Chinese, fast food and other options from affordable to mid range. I sometimes go out but I prefer to prepare my own meal.

Wonderful place to study and explore.
Tips: The 24/7 support provided by the college ensures that students can get the instant support they need. There are several options for students looking for on-campus housing, including websites and apps. There are several student campuses they organize each year, including ones for welcoming new students. The college also emphasizes student enjoyment, which is great for students from other countries. They also have different kinds of communities.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Indigenous student service is amazing, safe and full of events and support for any student coming to college. Their support has helped students in several ways. However, they provide instant solutions to students, and the staff is also very good, which makes for an amazing experience.

Yes, universities do take a close look at the number of backlogs. Most of the top good universities do not accept more than 6 (or 8) backlogs. For top universities, it would be max 2. Secondly, they would also look at the CGPA in the last 2 years (4 semesters).
