History

The UofT Nursing has been established for 100+ years now in 1920. The Department of Nursing was merged with the School of Hygiene at the University of Toronto, until in 1933, it became an independently recognized School of Nursing. Faculty of Nursing received a historic donation from Lawrence Bloomberg – largest ever given to Canadian nursing school. In recognition of this visionary gift, Faculty was renamed Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing in 2007, the first named faculty of nursing in Canada.

• BScN degree (75% or 3.0 GPA)
• 2 years of clinical experience

• Must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)

• English Language requirements with IELTS score of 7.0, Cambridge English – C1/C2 with 185 overall score, CAEL with 70, etc.
