Tips: Embracing a new language and culture is a rewarding challenge. The rigorous curriculum, experienced faculty, and immersive cultural environment contribute to a well-rounded medical education. Studying here broadened my perspective and prepared me for a global medical career. The university rules require students to complete Chinese proficiency exams before graduation. Chinese Government Scholarships are awarded through a competitive application process, providing full tuition coverage and a monthly allowance of 3000 RMB. I'm highly satisfied with the MBBS program and my experience in China.
Likes (Part time work): The campus is beautiful, and the city of Zhenjiang is a great place to live. The university organizes cultural nights, sports tournaments, and academic conferences, and I prioritize academic events and enjoy cultural celebrations. Student life includes the International Student Unions, medical societies, and language clubs, and living and learning in China offers a unique perspective on global healthcare and fosters deep personal growth alongside rigorous medical training.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at Jiangsu University are dedicated and very knowledgeable, and they provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The professors are accessible, hold regular office hours, and respond promptly to student inquiries. The unique project-based learning and tech-enhanced lectures promote practical skill development alongside theoretical understanding. The international faculty, hailing from China, India, Germany, and beyond, enriches learning by sharing diverse perspectives and fostering cross-cultural competence essential for global healthcare.
