Easy going university with friendly staff
Tips: You need to remember from the start that bbw is a private Hochschule, so the tuition fees are definitely something you have to budget for. The best part is that you don't have to deal with endless, soul-crushing technical theory—the whole syllabus is focused on how the actual business side works. Because the contact hours aren't completely overwhelming, it gives you the perfect window to actually lock down a proper working student job (Werkstudent) or an internship in Berlin without drowning in stress.
The modules themselves cover a really diverse mix of industries, and the way they test you is a world away from the rigid, theory-heavy rote learning you get back in India. Instead of massive, stressful end-of-semester written exams, you're mostly doing practical presentation slides, group case studies, and project reports, which makes the whole learning experience way more interactive.

Good location but limited opportunities.
Tips: Students should know that the teaching is practical and industry-focused, but campus life is limited. It's best suited for those focused on studies and careers, not those seeking a vibrant student community. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is very well connected to Berlin. The excellent public transport network with stations like Yuvan S Barnes nearby, makes it easy, fast and affordable for students to travel using the Deutschland ticket. You can go anywhere.
Dislikes (Value for money): Tuition fees are high compared to the quality of facilities, student support and campus life offered. The academic content is decent the experience doesn't fully justify the cost and I don't feel the tuition covers everything including industry aspects.

Very nice campus and supportive staff.
Tips: Before joining, students should be aware of the academic rigour, campus culture, living cost and networking/career opportunities. The curriculum is industry relevant, and the multicultural environment is enriching.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors are highly knowledgeable and supportive. They are approachable during office hours and often guide beyond academics. The teaching methodology emphasis research, case studies and interactive discussions, which makes learning engaging.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are no companies offering visas as in Germany, students are responsible for finding jobs. My university offers no support and I rated post study jobs a 2 because visa sponsorship opportunities are limited often falling short of international students' expectations.
