M.S. in Information Technology - Batch of 2025
2.1
College is good but some staff members are partial.
Tips: No value for money and fees is huge with a poor curriculum. The college lectures are partial about us and the opportunities are very low. And more over there are no scholarships. No allowance and no opportunity to earn money. Not happy with the college anymore.
Dislikes (Internships): Internship options are not good because they do not give opportunities to do much and do not sign up students for the internships. There are no internships here and even if they are there then the lecturers are not accepting the people who deserve internships. Living here is harder than another state. I am not happy.

Expensive but worth it. Though it is very much expensive you can learn a lot of things here.
Tips: When I first came here there were not many Indians, I felt left out but later many showed up and we can learn and take help from them during assignments. You will also be getting scholarships, you just have to look for in the portal. I am very much satisfied with this college and country with the lifestyle.
Likes (Safety): It is one of the safest city. As most of them are senior citizens living here, it will be very peaceful. It's quite expensive though. It is 40 miles away from the Los Angeles downtown and if you want to go for a party or siteseeing, it is just an hour drive from here.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are not many IT related jobs nearby. It is mainly because of the recession happening here. You may find some in bay area like San Fransisco and mostly in Texas. Jobs like Data analyst, business analyst and data engineer can be offered with this course.

Career oriented and worth the money.
Tips: Learn to cook and also learn to handle stress as you need to be independent with doing all the chores which can be sometimes so stressful. Academics are so tough so focus on your studies instead of dreaming about having fun and going to parties because you won't find time for it.
Dislikes (Part time work): In the US, you can't do part time job outside the university. You can only do inside the campus so getting a part time job is difficult compared to other countries, and also not all can get a job inside the campus that is the biggest problem we are facing right now when it comes to part time jobs. The academics are also tough so it is better not to engage in part time job as you need to concentrate on your studies first, it's really hard to manage.
