A practical and independent learning experience in Germany for tech students.
Tips: Before joining THD, students should know that self-motivation is key, as the system is more research and project-oriented. Knowing basic German also helps with part-time jobs and integration. After coming here, I experienced a cultural shift in terms of independence, punctuality, and academic freedom.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): While there are opportunities in Germany, especially for tech fields like AI, the process can be slow due to language barriers and visa sponsorship limitations. Many companies prefer candidates with strong German skills, although some multinational firms do sponsor visas.

Tips: Students must check their curriculum briefly to get an idea of what they will be learning in their upcoming years. Some programs require you to pass an assessment test before getting enrolled in your selected program. They should prepare themselves for the upcoming challenges.
Likes (Post study jobs): They have a pretty good placement rate after course completion. It is beneficial for students that they are getting employment just after finishing their course. There are many large companies too which students are getting placed into. They can visit Munich for better job opportunities.
Dislikes (Part time work): It's difficult to find part-time here. The first requirement would be the German language otherwise it would be problematic for an individual. The city does not have enough companies in which students can work part-time but still it is possible to find one.

IMT Dubai- Good College for MBA
Tips: Things you should know before joining IMT Dubai Campus is that
there are a lot of cultural shocks and life changes in Dubai and student life is comparatively strict.
Please be ready for average placements. In other countries, students are usually prepared to step out and seek placements on their own.
Students are given a total of 4-5 months post completion of their degree to seek placements and get the work visa.
Likes (Public transportation): The reason I rated high on public transportation is that we stayed inside the campus as IMT Dubai was a fully residential campus. But, the transportation outside the campus is pretty subtle and smooth. It is very cheap but almost free for students studying in Dubai.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The reason I rated permanent immigration and settlement options as 1/5 is that Dubai is part of the Arab countries as none of the Arab countries offer any law for immigrants to settle permanently or apply for citizenship. You can work for years with a work visa but there's no law around citizenship.

IMT Dubai: a place of fun but average college.
Tips: Make sure you are financially strong. The ROI of the Dubai campus of IMT isn't good. Chances that you will get a good-paying job are rare. Very few students get good jobs. Also never take a loan because you won't be able to pay it via your job. The only perk of this college is the glamour of Dubai. You would have a great life.
